Good ! i was tired of these dragons constantly respawning , always at the same places , killing my favorite npc  or interfering in my quests . There are enough " normal " dragons locations in Skyrim without them .

Ep I think the same. Dragons idk how 2 say it. Its Great game but dragons looks like hey from other planet XD Understand me gs. Lke better whith out them! Even gameplay become worser whith reptile that u can kill only from electro spell #2 XD Try to kill him whith arrow in fly XD
And it looks horrible when hi fly. Its cool at all.
Put more accent on true history race relationships and other nice stuff here thats what I want XD.

Dragons not part of Elder Scrolls? They appeared in The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard in 1998.

You're missing the point. They watered down a legendary creature to constant annoying battles plus they kill tons of random npcs as well as people at my home. And they disrupt questing. Its actually horrible.

Of course that dragons were a part of TES before Skyrim, for example in TES II: Daggerfall you can meet Skakmat, a servant of powerful sorcerer named Nulfaga, a mother to murdered king Lysandus of Daggerfall. And yep, Skakmat is a dragon. You can also learn "Dragonish" language in this game and this is just an one example :)

Although mod is very useful as yeah, dragons cand get a bit too annoying in TES V: Skyrim, they just seem way too common, especially after defeat of Alduin :P

Unfortunately, this mod doesn't work with DLCs :/ Dragonborn or Dawnguard causes this problem and author won't fix that problem as we can see. He even will not have been able to fix that, because there is only one position assigned to random dragons attacks and it's called "MQ106TurnOffRandomDragons" (as author mentioned in description), DLCs don't have this option. So, play without DLCs, use "Protect your People", "Run For Your Lives" or (my favourite) "Timing is Everything", you can adjust vampires and dragon attacks to your needs. Obviously, I set it in that way to make it happen no more.

So if I want to disable the mod will there be random dragon attacks again? the only reason I want to download this is because there's an elder dragon flying outside Solitude when Ulfric is trying to give a big speech

Is this mod script heavy by any chance? Does it even involve a script?

Nope, it is script free. It changes a global variable rather than touching scripts.

Where do you go to change the global value of this mod?

Thank you. This mod is great for my game. Those random dragons popping up repeatedly to interrupt my quests is extremely annoying. They even killed one of my quest giving npcs. Seriously, what was Bethesda thinking?

Last online: January 13th. I don't think he will.

But since he basically told everyone how to do it in the description, you could easily do it yourself!

I downloaded this mod a few months ago because I was getting annoyed with random dragons greeting me after fast travelling. Yes I know fast travelling makes them appear more often, but I do not wish to hardcore RP and trek all over Skyrim just for the sake of realism. This dragon issue gets really bad especially at the Riften stables for whatever reason. It is because I hate the risk of important NPC's dying by dragon attacks that I decided to use this mod in the first place.

It happened on my Xbox game where two NPC's that each gave out a daedric quest died in Falkreath. Needless to say that made me quite angry. The beauty of it is that those were the only two people that died in that town. Finishing the Oblivion Walker achievement was an impossibility. I think that's enough of my Skyrim life story. Moving on.

I have four questions to ask regarding this mod I linked above:

    1. Will disabling/removing said mod automatically revert MQ106TurnOffRandomDragons value back to 0, or will I still need to manually enter that value in the console?

    2. If I need to manually enter it as well, will that change be constant from then on, or will it go back to 1 every time I hop back on because of the mod I had installed before.

    3. Does the mod affect all my saves of all my current and future characters? I'm 99% sure the answer is yes, but I'd like comfirmation.

    4. Is there a command I can type in the console that will allow me to see all of Skyrim's global values such as MQ106TurnOffRandomDragons at the time of entering said command? This would be helpful to test Question #2.

EDIT: 5. Regarding the second half of Question #1... If it's true, does that mean I will then also have to reenter that global value for every new character I make? I ask because if this mod, even in its absence, permanently changed the value to 1, I would think Question #5 is true as well. I say that because I think manually entering the value to 0 only affects the character you are currently on, whereas the mod affects the entire game. That all is only assuming that my assumptions are correct.

These are all of the questions that came to mind. I'm fairly sure there was another one, but it escapes me.

To close off I will say that I have indeed disabled and removed the mod after a couple months of use and have also set the value to 0 myself from that MQ106 global value mentioned above. I haven't stayed in the game long to find out if it worked, but I did fast travel once to Riften stables. No dragon was found. It wasn't much of a test I admit. I just assumed that despite the lack of dragons that what I did brought back the dragon spawns (on all future saves AND characters preferably). That is my hope anyway. Anyways thank you all for your time and attention. I hope to see some answers that clear up this confusion.

I don't use this mod and was just looking around but considering how mods in Skyrim work (especially simple ones that change the value), it does not change the value in your main game it just overrides it with the mod file. If you remove the mod file it goes back to default value
