There is something I did not understand, do you have to download the "Resources" and then one of the ESP and ESM versions? Or do you have to download one of the 2 versions and then install the "resources"?

    Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie here...I think I found a bug or something. I added a mod to my load order called "Immersive Jewelry" tp bring more "Bling" to my Ladies of Skyrim. After adding the mod, I noticed the ingots on the two shelves for storage in the basement changed the size and thickness of the ingots on the shelves. It was different ingots each time I entered the basement and if I bought or sold stuff to Shanara all of the ingots changed shape and size.

Is it a bug in the Tower? Incompatibility with Immersive Jewelry?

    Any ideas?

There is something WAY wrong with this mod. I spent hours at the forge upgrading my smithing to maximum level. I stored a bunch of things in the tower--my claws, special weapons, etc. Then I left, turned off the game, but when I came back, EVERYTHING was gone! Everything I forged, all the special weapons, everything, is just gone. And I cannot find it anywhere. Help...?

You probably put all in the container which is meant for deletion of items, there is one that do that.

Anyone help please, I am trying to use the mod on VORTEX but it says file conflict if I disable one it gets rid of the conflict but even if I disable one of the three or two of the three or enable all the mod still doesn't work. Any help? please, thank you.

love the incinerator - i always wished hearthfire added something like it where you could just destroy items.

one critique about it i would make to make it even better is if it acted like a condenser - so lets say you put enchanted armor into it, it'd destroy the armor but give back the materials used to craft the armor as well as an empty soul gem (the type of gem would vary depending on the level of the enchantment(s) on the item: Petty - Black = 1 - 100+ points)

a suggestion i would also give is to add a duplicator - just across from the incinerator. the duplicator would take any item (except for money) and multiply it by one. so you could put 500 soul gems in it and the duplicator would then add another 500 to the stack - the duplicator would also not duplicate filled soul gems, instead it would return empty soul gems of that type.

one other thing that i think would be a great addition would be to replace the forcefield from being just insta-explosions to instead the forcefield that surrounds the eye of magnus when you first discover it.

esm are your master files - .esm is the format of the DLCs and main game.
      skyrim.esm - the base game
      dawnguard.esm - DLC
      hearthfire.esm - DLC
      dragonborn.esm - DLC

".esp" is the format the creation engine uses for mods - the esp is basically the main file for the mod.

Explained and explained, but nothing was understood.
ESM is master file format, ESP is plugin format, ESM is usually preferred, but if that
doesn't work for you, the ESP is provided and should work.
Only choose one of either, not two at the same time as it'll generate conflicts.
The ESM and ESP files contain the same data, just in a slightly different format to suit people's different load order needs.

I have downloaded the resources, esp and esm, but when I enable them on vortex, it says that there are some unresolved conflicts. Is there something I did wrong?
(edit: Sorry I didn't read the instructions properly. I'll see if it works now)
(Second edit: I have downloaded the esm and the resources but it still doesn't work... Can someone please tell me if I did something wrong?)

ESM or ESP not both. I don't use Vortex but the conflict it's talking about I imagine is the fact you are using ESM and ESP of the same mod.

It's been years since I installed the Oldrim version, but I think I installed the resources first, then the esp, then ran LOOT. Since I had previously used William's mods for Oblivion and the Fallout games, this was one of the first Skyrim mods I installed. I still run it on the Skyrim Stable Edition. Enjoy.

Great mod. However is there anyway I can get the female NPC servants to wear alternate clothing? I've tried giving them robes and armor to equip, but the default outfit which is way too revealing for my tastes stays no matter what.

Seems to me that you might need to collect the files for the armor you want them to wear and copy those over what the NPCs currently use... in other words, filesystem work.  A more technical alternative to simply copying them would be replacing the defaults with NTFS hardlinks (like Vortex uses) or symbolic links, but doing that would mean that if you ever removed mods that the replacement armor resides within then it would break symbolic links (hardlinks could survive that, though you'd have no record so-to-speak of the swap that you made).  Is any of that beyond your modding pay grade?
