why is this mod editing tint layers on the player? when i checked for conflicts not one of my mods was doing this but then your mod was editing tint layers that did not exist... had to use tes5edit to remove those

Does this mod work mid playthrough?

Can be added at any mod. I cannot endorse because of 15 minutes.

The description says "(...) it won't be compatible with other mods that edit the Player". What kind of mods are we talking about here? What kind of mods edit the player? I have a huge load order and want to know if this will conflict with any other mods

I'd like to know this one too. May very well be why I have such a hard time getting mods like this one to work consistently. 'Editing the player' is pretty vague....

Simple, open TES5EDIT and see if any mod change the player record.

For the life of me I just can't figure this one out. There are three mods I am trying that do this, including No More Starting Spells and Starting Spells Begone. Is there a certain place in the load order this mod works best at? I get the same results no matter which of these three mods I use, and basically it's a crap shoot as to whether or not the spells are removed. I am busy loading other mods in batches, and testing as I go, and each time I start a new game I notice the starting spells will be there for one new game, gone for another, without changing where the mod is in the order.

It's not too big a deal. The way I play I put all my spells onto the favorites menu when I get them, so I just wait until I acquire the books for flames & healing before putting them onto the favorites, and I refuse to play any spells from outside the favorites menu. So that works too. Still, it's nice to not see them in there to begin with.

Apparently the "No Falling Damage Mod" conflicts with this Mod, have no Idea why, it doesn't make any sense. And when I install this and then the other, one or the other doesn't work. Any reason for this, lol.

Yeah I've always wondered why you could find spell books for these specific spells when every race knows them.

Those specific spell books were pretty useless.

    Awesome!

It works, clean and simple. Endorsed.

    EDIT

Have been waiting to get rid of those start spells to play as a pure warrior since Skyrim was released. You, sir, are my modding hero for the moment. You earned a Kudos.

A lot of people in forums and even here always ask "Why remove them?" or "Why not just ignore them?"

The main reason (at least for me) is because I want to start with no knowledge of magic and have to buy my first spells. The fact that all player characters already know these two spells at the start makes it rather pointless for the tomes of said spells to even be in the game.

I understand why they added these spells in at the beginning though, Bethesda wanted a beginner to the Elder Scrolls series to have a way of defending as well as healing themselves right at the start in case they were dumb enough not to find a weapon.
I will be trying this mod out in a few mins. Will endorse as soon as possible if all goes well.
    Thanks DI

EDIT: Seems to work fine after testing, thanks, Endorsed
