I love the look of this mod. It seems like it would be a fun sword to use. But the extremely annoying thing is though is that I don't even know where the sword is located at the top of the mountain. I have looked everywhere on the edges of the mountain for it and could not even find it.
Update: Oh so I guess the sword is invisible. Well... I guess it's pointless to try and find it anyways because of that reason. Might as well just cheat to get it since this is a faulty mod that only works for Mod Manager. In all honesty, that's not very fun at all.
P.S; I found a way better one anyways with the same sword, so I might as well just use that mod instead of this faulty one that will just frustrate me to the core. *sigh* At least the other Excalibur version is actually much easier to find and not invisible
ALMOST SOLVED: Okay, so anyone having trouble with Excalibur being invisible needs to do the following:
Mod Organizer Users:
1) Manually download BOTH files for this mod. That is to say, Excalibur Version 2 and Excalibur Version 3 are both needed. So, manually download them both!
2) Click the " Install a new mod from an archive " button, which is located at the top left of Mod Organizer.
3) Install Excalibur Version 2 and Excalibur Version 3. They are normally found in your " Downloads " folder.
4) Using Mod Organizer, right click on Excalibur Version 2 and select " Open in explorer ".
5) Highlight both the " meshes " and " textures " folders from Excalibur Version 2.
6) Right click and select " Copy ".
7) Using Mod Organizer, right click on Excalibur Version 3 and select " Open in explorer ".
Paste the " meshes " and " textures " folders you just copied from Excalibur Version 2 into Excalibur Version 3 by right clicking and selecting " paste " while inside the Excalibur Version 3 folder.
9) Back in Mod Organizer, tick the check box for Excalibur Version 3.
10) You can now remove Excalibur Version 2 from Mod Organizer or place it above Excalibur Version 3. However, do not tick Excalibur Version 2 if you decided to keep it as a backup. Personally, I chose to keep it as a backup and placed it above Excalibur Version 3. Again, if you are choosing this route, do not active Excalibur Version 2. Again, alternatively, at this point you can simply right click on Excalibur Version 2 and select " Remove Mod " since technically at this point Excalibur Version 2 is no longer needed.
11) Fast travel to The Throat of The World and climb to the very top of the mountain. Excalibur can be found set in a stone there. Enjoy!
All other uses: 1) I only support Mod Organizer users. Sorry. If you do not have Mod Organizer you need to download and install it. It is awesome!
PS: Awesome mod by the way! Thank you so much! I was looking for an Excalibur sword mod just like this one! Totally epic! Love the fact that it is set in a stone too just like the legend and you have to pull it out of the stone! Freaking awesome! The fact that it is on top of the highest mountain in Skyrim is also very cool! Hopefully you can fix that hilt!
PPS: To all those haters out there, there is nothing wrong with having different versions of a legend! That just adds to the lore by making it more mysterious and cooler! Take care everyone and please be kind.
Actually if you watch the movie Excalibur, Merlin gave Uther Pendragon Excalibur. It was Uther who put the sword in the stone and years later Author pull it out. The Lady of the Lake repair his sword after it broke because of his vanity. Watch and you will see.
... It was in fact Caliburn that was the sword in the stone and Excalibur was giving to king aurther when he broke the rules of chivilry. But i honestly don't care lolz
The Movie Excalibur was very inaccurate with Arthurian legend Uther Pendragon never saw nor even heard about Excalibur. The sword in the Stone was also NOT Excalibur. It WAS a good movie though.
kind of an odd duality, it's inaccurate, but at the same time it's probably the best king Arthur movie you can find plus liam niessan and patric stuart are in it (I know, I cant spell)
If you saw the series Merlin, the sword was forged for Arthur to defeat a wraith, but it ended up being Uther that used it in that fight, after the fight was done, Merlin took it back and hid it in the lake, then he required it again to defeat an immortal army so it was returned to him by the lady of the lake. Then after it's usefulness was complete he placed it in the rock.
errr i think you find in the 1984 moive excalibur murlin gave the sword to uthur he drove the sword saying murlin weath a mist to save your king merlin

Awesome work, I have been looking for some time for a Mythical Legendary weapon for my character, there are plenty of cool & bad ass weapons in the game but this one is my favorite, get some snazzy enchantments on it, and I'm off!
