    Major Life Update

I am currently on a major break, life has become insane and I dont have the time or mental willpower to make mods at this time. That does NOT mean I am gone forever or that my mods are dead/broken, it simply means I dont have the time right now. Modding is fun for me its a nice hobby, however it was becoming a job that I got nothing from for all the many hours I have to put into them. Its just to much for me at this time.

My permissions still stand, just because I am on break does NOT mean you can take my mods without permission.

Good mod author. Thanks for putting the foot clipping issue on your list, I really like the items offered by the mod but really bad clipping like that is kind of a deal breaker. I'm sure either the cloak or the player running animations could be tweaked to eliminate that issue

    READ PLEASE

How do you stop the feet clipping problem?

You can use this great new animation mod, it edits the animations to remove most of the feet clipping problems.

    About a HDT version.

I am aware of the Capes with HDT physics mod, but I do NOT have the ability to do this myself atm. Its beyond my skill set. If someone wants to work with me on a patch for HDT PLEASE PM ME.

I can not find the plugin for this mod in my plugins but it is installed in my mods tab (using vortex)since I want to use OBIS mod which has a plugin dependency on this mod. It says Missing masters "1nivWICCloaks.esp" since I read that it's the main esp file for this mod. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the Cloaks moves with the wind like the other capes and cloaks?

"Would everyone be interested in a custom crafting menu for this mod, I have figured out how to make my own menu for my items which would cut down on lag and overcrowding. Only thing is it would be craft able only from your inventory (through a special item) and would have a single tiny script that would run when you click on said item.
    Looking for actual feedback.
Yes? No? Please post in thread."

That would be great for cutting down on the crafting menu

Very nice. Love how the cloaks look with the Dragonbone Ebonsteel armor from the namesake mod.

Cloaks cover the frontal part of the body too. They are more like wrapping your entire body with a piece of clothing to protect yourself from the weather. These are more in the line of hooded capes.

okay i dont know whats causing this issue for me but WICCloaks is flat out refusing to work. last year when i played skyrim previously WICCloaks was working perfectly fine, installed through NMM/vortex, sorted load orders etc. through LOOT, no issues. now as im on a new laptop redownloading all my mods etc. WICCloaks no longer wants to work. i checked the metadata for WICCloaks.esp on LOOT and its says:

    Spoiler:

    1. i have the cloaks of skyrim mod already, and i have the latest versions of both the standalone and dawnguard version. ive even done a fresh install of skyrim without cloaks of skyrim mod, and WICCloaks.esp is still giving the same error message, even using the appropriate install NOT to include the cloaks of skyrim patch from WICCloaks

    2. Complete Crafting Overhaul_Remade.esp??? ive never downloaded that mod, EVER. so why is LOOT saying already included in CCOR? is CCOR included in frostfall, campsite etc.? ive posted on the CCOR thread about this issue and waiting to see if anyone can shed some light on this problem. and even with WICCloaks being completely removed from the mod list, im not seeing any of the related items in-game so from what i can see, none of the other mods i have installed have WICCloaks included in them

    3. i am only using WICCloaks.esp file? im not using the (NoGuards) patch or any similar patches, just the main version, and im not manually copy/pasting all of the files over, and if i were to manually install, id make sure to only copy over the necessary files.

ive done nothing different when installing skyrim, downloading my mods, and lauching the game, compared to last year on my previous laptop. same mods, same load up process through NMM/vortex, making sure the load orders are done correctly etc., but now all of a sudden WICCloaks just doesnt want to work.

We've got beach towels, rough-textured beach towels, hooded beach towels, thick beach towels, even furry beach towels. Where are the cloaks?

What the heck are you talking about, towels , ??
You'll find them on bandits n such or can craft them if you have certain pelts on you, if they look like towels in your game, then you have another mod overwriting the looks  ??

It’s been almost a decade since Skyrim came out, and I'm still finding older mods I missed at the time, that are just absolutely phenomenal. That is one mere reason why Skyrim is my favorite game of all time.
This is a mod I’m glad I finally installed for my new/current playthrough, after about a year long hiatus (which was definitely my longest one yet) because cloaks and capes had been getting old for me. And now, with this great mod and over a hundred others lol, I’m finally back to enjoying my fav game <3

So thank you for all of the time and effort you put into it!!!’ Even all these years later, when life has gotten in the way of pretty much everyone in this community at one time or another, I still think it’s immensely important to thank all of our incredible mod authors and active community members for the parts they’ve/we’ve played in making Skyrim the GOAT :’]
