- Description - ShadowEdit is a small utility I wrote, because of getting sick with always editing the skyrimprefs.ini by hand, seeking the correct lines and replacing values by hand - always with the option of typos.
In this tool you just click a preset (low/med/high or even vanilla settings) and apply it to your ini-file, -or- you have the opinion to manually edit/finetune the settings, -or- you may import an Xml-File from others (Import/Export-Functionality included :) ).
- Prerequisits - ShadowEdit needs an installed Dot.Net Framework V4.0 (get it from Microsoft), which is by default installed on newer Windows-Versions.
- Installation - Just download the File, unpack it anywhere and run the ShadowEdit.exe. That's it. I mention to run this (as most tools) as Admin to avoid errors depending on your User-Rights.
- Remarks - I assume the Standard-Folder for your Settings, Something like Documents\My Games\Skyrim. Other options may follow in later releases (only if needed).
