    Required: Skyrim 1.8.151.0.7+
    Required: SkyUI v3.1+ (for MCM)
Required: SKSE v1.6.5+ (for keybind activation and to allow the zoom function to work, as well as SkyUI to function correctly)

If you have any questions about the effects of the items in this mod, then take a look at this: Effects Rundown
If you want to know more about 'The Oil System', then read this: The Oil System

    Craftable Dwarven Oil by Archmage19

Please, please, please READ the information given to you, before asking needless questions that have already been answered in them. It saves my time and yours

    And while I'm at it:
    - No I wont make one item that can do everything.
    - No I wont swap the effects of the items to one another.
    - To use the effect keybinds with a gamepad, you must first change them in this mods MCM section in the 'General' tab.
    - To disable The Oil System, you need to go into this mods MCM section and uncheck the oil option in the 'General' tab shown here.
    - The mask from the screenshot is from here: West Wind Combat Series - Assault Armor UNP UNPB BBP by brokefoot

    DGS Dark/Silver Retexture
Awhile ago a user requested a 'silver' texture set, so I stepped in to help them out. This was done quite awhile ago and is probably now buried in the comments, so putting it here will make it easier to find.

Hey, I know it's been years, but I recently bought Special Edition on sale, and the same issue just popped up. Did you find a solution per chance?

Ok, I got it - you can't install mid-game, you need a new game for this stuff to work together.

whenever i use the goggles or scout dwemer apparel, their textures don't show up. and when i use the special sight options for them, it makes every npc a pale color. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mods, checked if my mods messed it up, and checked the files if anything was missing, i couldn't see anything. someone help?

Hey so I've been trying out the mod so far am loving it alright however there is a small issue I'm facing. The zoom function that the goggles have is not working when I try to use it instead all it does is make the sound make me go into a very slightly zoomed in version of first person where I can't see my body (I have IFPV) and thats that. I tried setting FOV, seeing if it had any mod conflicts with any of my UI mods and so far nothing so I'm wondering if there's something that I can do to remove this since I really REALLY want to use the zoom function for my thief character thanks :)

Edit: Ok so through trial and error with my load order I managed to pinpoint why the zoom function isn't working, apparently the mod SkyrimSouls - Unpaused Game Menus is doing something thats blocking the zoom functionality of the goggles and when I removed it from my load order, the zoom worked like a charm. I'm too much of an idiot to check this in TES5EDIT but I'm just reporting this here incase anyone else runs into the same problem. Anyways Great mod!

    Hello!
Does the Goggles Light affect sneaking?
I DLed this about 3 years ago & have done some minor testing, but never asked if anyone knew for sure.
    Thank you.

it should affect sneaking. The game seems to measure your light level.
I am not sure, if you need this mod to get the console order, to see your light level.

That's a very nice mod. I'll add it to my soldier build, along with Mosin-Nagant, throwing grenade, bandage, trap mods. Thanks volvaga0 !

Okay, I really love this mod, and till yesterday I had no problems with the Goggle and scouter showing on my characters heads when not in use. But I started a new character and with the armour I am using on her it looks really odd.

Now I would like to ask if some one knows if I can do something to make the goggles work without showing up on her head like that. Yeah I could let the goggles stay on her eyes but I do not want that either? I realise I could simply not use the mod, but I absolutely like that it has everything in one. ( I have been using this mod for so long now. )

Hello volvaga0. Do you authorize me to convert MOD "Dwemer Goggles and Scouter v2.1.1" to Skyrim Special Edition? Because the latest version for SSE is "v1.3".

Umm, no? Please dont. Both versions are the same. Just because it says v1.3 on SSE, doesn't mean its the v1.3 of this one.

v2.1.1 here, is the equivalent of SSE's v1.0.
As it took awhile before SKSE64 came out, I had to modify the way the mod got handled when I couldn't use the script extender. In-game powers got used to replace the scripted keybinds. Which coincidentally then allowed me to port this very mod to the XB1. Once SKSE64 came out, I reintroduced the keybinds (v1.2) and patched some errors (v1.3). Don't assume just because the versions are numbered differently, that the two versions are somehow different.
