Hey, I'm trying to make a follower mod and I want to include a Senche-Raht khajiit. The lion model from your mod would be perfect for this. Would it be alright if I used the male lion model with credit and a link back to here when my mod eventually is posted?

I wish there was a snowy biome version of this mod with cave lions and big prehistoric cats that roamed the icy regions

Stopping by to say I love this mod while using Tropical Skyrim. Works great just clean it in TES5Edit. I think Yggidrasil may be correct on "some' CTDs around Whiterun, but  hasn't discouraged me. I did find something important though.
Never had the Hearthfire BUG that keeps Houses from being built until this playthrough. Also never used TS or this mod before.
Well. I've had the bug for almost a week. Searching for answers found that a bird mod caused it for some people and for others it was a mod that renames some locations ,I think. Can't remember the name. Then on a S.T.E.P. chat I read about spawn points causing the bug. I remembered this mod had spawn points and came back to read that one spawn was in the swamps. Exactly, since the main problem was Winstad Manor. Temporarily unticked this mod and loaded a save from before I started building and Winstad  Manor foundation appeared. This Hearthfire bug was new to me. Been playing Skyrim since 2012 and never encountered it before. Hopefully this warning helps somebody not to waste a week of gameplay time like I did. Either untick mod before building or don't install PoS until after building your houses.
By the way, I removed the Bird esp from Tropical Skyrim and that did not help this HF bug. But the birds did NOT disappear. Too many damn birds in TS but at least they're pretty. "Oh...the colors!"

I am very sad to write this...but I want to warn would be users away from this mod. It does cause occasional CTD's.I have been using POS hardcore since it first appeared on the Nexus and it is one of my favorite creature mods period. To the point that it is one of my, "I can't imagine playing without this!" mods. I even posted much earlier on this forum about serious stability concerns caused by this mod due to dirty edits and a deleted navmesh. Then a wonderful user released the navmesh fix and cleaned the mod and I reinstalled. Fast forward a couple years and I have come back to Skyrim (oldrim only :) after a lengthy break and have re-modding on a newer computer. I now know what I am doing and am much more familiar with how this game engine works (the product of 2+ years modding and screwing up my game repeatedly until finally achieving a very high level of stability with roughly 219 mods). This mod causes me reproducible CTD's in certain exterior cells (mostly around Silent Moons camp, halted stream camp, Lorius farm and a few other areas around Whiterun). The crashes don't always appear in every cell every time, but when they do happen, you can load a save from literally 10 seconds earlier, walk to the edge of the problematic cell and step into it again...and crash-every time. I used to just get occasional crashes before and just lived with them when I didn't know what I was doing. But I have worked too hard and too long to put up with CTD's now, and I am betting other users feel the same. Disable the POS esp and load the same save that crashed EVER time, and walk to the same entrance to the problematic cell and you will NOT crash. My Hypothesis is that the navmesh fix is only a partial fix. Loot does not pick up on anything untoward. But then Loot is fallible sometimes. With POS esp disabled, I get 0 ctd's anywhere in my game world. And this is with over 39 creature mods including SIC, OBIS, Deadly Wenches IP's and MODV4. I still wont un-endorse because of how much this mod has added to my Skyrim experience but i will not use this again. I would caution others as well. I wish someone had written something like this and saved me hours and hours of testing...

Before I had this mod I was a Boss walking around Skyrim.
With this mod, my heart jumps when I run into a den of lions.

Epic mod for a late game, but I would hold off for awhile if starting a new game with this mod, especially if you're using Immersive citizens AI overhaul. There are highly leveled tiger's (level 55, about 800hp) and leopards (level 45, around 500 hp) that spawn right outside the honningbrew meadery bridge and will absolutely decimate any roaming NPC within about 25-30 meters.

I love the mod, love the idea of high level creatures that can come out of no-where and absolutely destroy you, however I am having a issue, I'm not sure if it is just the lions but I stumbled upon some lions killing eachother, like they were in the same pride and I assumed one probably accidentally hit the other while trying to attack some mud crabs but just to be sure, I spawned some in and they immediately started killing each other, I spawned in Lions and Lioness, not just lions and they all tried to kill each other, even the lioness tried to kill the other lioness. I'm not sure if it has issues with one of my mods, but the only thing that could be interfering with their behavior is "SKYTEST - Realistic Animals and Predators" but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't make them kill each other.

Again, love the mod, love the idea of lions in Skyrim, but again, the issue. Still have it installed in hopes of seeing a pride that won't kill each other.
