Millshade Mansion
Homely mansion set in the middle of Solitude.
Easeful with all the comforts of a high-end house
Ready to move in when you start the game!

Maybe not as fancy as Proudspire Manor
And you won't find auto-sorting chests here
Maybe you're okay with a vanilla style home
Or want a simpler home

Real-estate; heart of Solitude
Are you ready to move in?
=======================================================================================

This house has three main goals in mind;
  • Provide a comfortable, but less ostentatious alternative to Proudspire Manor
  • Fill a wierd gap in the city planning
  • Provide a simple home, for Players who like vanilla design and feel

You won't find auto-sorting chests, or endless rooms of custom textures and displays - not that any of that is bad, of course! But this is a simpler home.
Since you're getting it for free, who can complain?
It's a medium sized home, roughly the size of the Bits and Pieces Store/House, just down the street.

The mansion fills in a gap in the city layout, which previously only had a stack of rocks, and an oddly placed little lawn with 3 potatoes or whatever (see pictures).
The house is certainly big, and noticable, but blends fairly well into the city, nestled in the shade of Solitude's grand mill.

Requirements:
Hearthfires
Dragonborn
I use assets from these DLCs, so it's non-negotiable. The mod only relies on in-game textures otherwise, so the file size is light, and requirements few.

(Un)Installation
Extract the contents of the provided folder to your Skyrim\Data directory or (preferably) use a mod manager of a sort.
To uninstall the mod, remove all the files you unpacked when installing (or again... use a mod manager).

It should go without saying that deleting the house (cell) your character is currently sitting in would be a bad idea.
Before uninstalling, make sure you "clean" the house by grabbing any items you want to keep, and make a save file somewhere outside the house (preferably outside Solitude or inside another interior).
