Rul'zaek saw the light of day during the reign of dragons over mortals. He ascended to the dragon priesthood early on in his life. However, he never truly had any interest in ruling over anyone; whether for himself or his dragon overlords. Rul'zaek was more interested in his magical research on extending one's lifespan indefinitely. Unlike many of his brethren, he did not let his ambitions or obsession consume him. When the time came, he vanished—choosing to be a silent witness to the fall and rise of empires rather than being part of it all. Feasting on the lifeforce of living creatures; it be plants, animals or other mortals that were too bothersome. Rul'zaek now lives his abnormally long existence on the margins of civilization.
