Update to Version 1.1: Fixed bugs. Read changelog and Sticky Post

Kintyra Castle lies in the Tundra in the vicinity of Whiterun, just turn right at Fort Greenwall and follow the way over the bridge. Besides the main buildings lies a tournament area and several big stables for your horses. Discover the Manor with kitchen, chambers, the Oblivion Memorial room and the children's quarters. Discover the Knight's Hall, the Mansion and several towers. Work your Alchemy in the Loft or your Arcane Arts in the Mages Tower. Explore the Administration Quarters with Library, Office and Living Rooms.  And there is a lot more to discover. And plenty of storage for all your weapons, treasures and whatever you want to collect: Roundabout thirty rooms for you to explore.

When I finished the fantastic mod Rigmor of Cyrodiil, I felt I needed a more fitting home in Skyrim, and I'm also a huge fan of Mr Siika's Castle Seaview in Cyrodiil, so I decided to puzzle all his assets and other together to make a castle that fits my needs. It is eyecandy in the first place. But look for yourself.

There are no followers, companions, npcs included. You need to bring them in yourself.

This castle comes as is. I have no time to do bug fixes, patches and improvements, maybe this will take place in the future, but no promise.
It is obviously not compatible with mods who cover the same area, mods, who change the landscape or add trees to that area. Look at the screenshot for the exact location.

There is no quest or fee to occupy the castle, just take it. Maybe you find this boring, but my sparse time doesn't allow me to go any further.

I did tests with seven followers and two doggies and it worked very well. I did not test with children.

Bugs: There are some wrong texture paths for several dishes, but they are mostly inside a container, you don't have to use them. The candle lighting does not work correctly with some candles, but this is not immersion breaking.
There is light flickering in some rooms - don't activate every light source you will find, find out, what source works best for you.
Followers will not follow up the steps in the towers or in the Guardhouse. The steps are very steep - nothing I can do about it. If you change the cell, they will most likely teleport to you.
In the Treasury the Sanguine Rose Staff is shown in the rack - should be invisible. But it's a static object, you can't grab it, you need to get the Skyrim quest done to place the original staff here.

If you discover bugs - I'm sure there will be some - feel free to report them here.

Skyrim has fantastic skilled and talented modders, who give their permissions freely and I want to say a big, big, thank you for all the assets I'm allowed to use. Please notice the credits list. It's very long.

FAQ:
- Why do you use 1k textures?
- Because my computer is at their limits. And the mod uses a ton of different textures and is really huge enough.

- Are there weapons or armor included?
- There is one armor and you will find some weapons, but this is mainly a player home mod.

- Does the interior of the buildings fit the exterior?
- No, unfortunately not. I'm no architect. But I tried my best to stay close to the layout, as far as it was possible for me.

- Are there npcs included?
- Just some horses and hens. Very basic. Use mods like Convenient horses, follower mods or whatever you prefer in addition.
This mod is the foundation to further improvements you may do yourself. I built the market area with vendors in mind, and every resource you need to craft something should be available in the area of the castle, so were my thoughts. There are some new ingredients, but this is not finished. Feel free to get into creativity and do what you want :)

I would love to see your screenshots :)
