- WHAT YOU GET -

A duo of neato mother-daughter Nord warriors to follow you on your tamrielic journeys. 

They look a lot like my Elisif from the MW Elisif the Fair Replacer and my Lisebeth from the MW Elisif has a Family, in fact they share (almost) the same face as them. 

Esteri of the Embers, a young recruit from the local city Guard. She thought the life of a soldier would be full of battles and adventures, instead the housecarl makes her spend all her time on barracks and jail duty. What a bore! Maybe you can help Esteri see some real combat in the wilds. 
Quite rare for a true Nord warrior, she also exhibits some affinity with fire magic, although basic. I would use a Follower Manager like EFF or NFF to teach her more spells, she got the perks... I mean, a true expert in Pyromancy would see some potential in Esteri and would take her as an apprentice.

Class: Spellsword-Guard
Level: min.5 max.500, she levels at 0.9x ratio to the Player, +50 offset to Stamina and Magicka
Perks: Light Armor, One Hand, Destruction, Light Foot
Equipment: Guard Armor, a Steel Sword
Location: Dawnstar's Guards Barracks

Lise, her mother. While she may appear like any other barkeeper, she actually spent some time adventuring back in the day. That is why she has no problems throwing punches around if needed, to maintain the peace withinn the inn.
But what about bringing Lise along for more adventures? I am sure she would love to.

Class: Tank-Warrior
Level: min.10 max.100, she levels at 1.1x ratio to the Player, +110 offset to Health 
Perks: Heavy Armor, Two Hands, Block, Light Foot
Equipment: Barmaid clothes, no weapons (she prefers 2h-Battleaxes, give her a good one she will not disappoint)
Location: Dawnstar's Windpeak Inn

If you are a fellow Guards Armor Replacer enjoyer, there is an optional patch in the FOMOD to give Esteri the correct uniform. 

They are flagged [X] ESSENTIAL and [X] MARRIAGEABLE. 

No bodies or skins included, for maximum compatibility.

The levels caps make no sense to me?
It just works.  

Do I need this?
Yes! 

Are they Stormcloacks? 
Not necessarily: I chose a Stormcloack-affiliated Hold to put them because I wanted to give you a version of Elisif fighting on the other side of the war, but she is loyal to her town first. You can roleplay both sides of the war with Esteri and, why not, Lise. 

Where is Mr. husband of Lise? 
Great question! 

If I marry Lise, does Esteri become my adopted Heartfire-compatible-daughter and call me mama/papa? 
No, she stays a regular follower. The true roleplay is the one we make inside our minds and hearts. 

I would very much like a patch for Sons of Skyrim?
Sorry I do not use that mod, I am still with GAR.
