A fairly detailed Scottish style basket-hilted broadsword based on a real life piece made by Balefire Blades. Full disclosure I did not model this weapon it was modeled by a man named Leeek and was posted for download on sketchfab I merely edited the mesh and textures to work in nifskope and modded it into Skyrim using the creation kit.

The broadsword is effective against the undead like a silver sword but I made it do a bit more damage to make it more balanced with mid to late game weapons and in order to get the weapon you will have to have the arcane blacksmith perk and it can only be crafted at the skyforge the recipe is 5 leather straps, 5 fire salts, and a silver sword. I eventually want to add a quest and maybe some unique effects to the sword but as this is my first mod I am still in the process of learning. Leeek the person who made the model I used for this mod has many other jaw dropping weapons that I will also mod into the game someday perhaps making a weapon pack or something else interesting like that.
