VERSION 2
In Progress: This version will add the healing request to existing followers who have training in restoration: Frea - Skaal Village (DragonBorn DLC) Talvas - Tel Mithryn (DragonBorn DLC) Belrand - Winking Skeever Marcurio - Bee & Barb Valdimar - Morthal Aranea - Shrine of Azura
I am currently very hesitant to create this version of the mod because it will easily make visiting the healing centers of Skyrim obsolete, when you have a follower who can heal you anytime/anywhere (except mid-combat).
It would ruin the main vision I originally had for this mod. A place where you could go to after battling and adventuring, to stop, take a load off, and get any wounds healed. So I might not make this version, or I could just limit the available followers to late game types or followers locked behind "Difficult Quests" (i.e. Aranea & Erandur or Frea & Talvas in Dragonborn DLC) or I could just make it an optional file.
Let me know your thoughts.
VERSION 1
This mod adds a dialog option to a few existing NPCs that allows them to heal you if you ask them to do so.
My intention was to create healing centers in Skyrim, kind of like Pokemon Centers in Pokemon. I personally play a hardcore play-style as a stalwart warrior wielding a 2H, along with mods that cause no passive health regeneration, and castinghealing spells are much harder to get the hang of. So I wanted a place where I could go to after battling and adventuring, to stop, take a load off, and get any wounds healed.
Existing NPCs with this dialog option:
DanicaPureSpring and Acolyte Jenssen, in the Temple of Kynareth in - Whiterun Maramal and Briehl, in the Temple of Mara -Riften Jora and Lortheim, in the Temple of Talos - Windhelm Senna, in the Temple of Dibela -Markarth Freir, in the Temple of the Divines - Soulitude Colette Marence, in the College of Winterhold
They all heal you, free of charge.
The healing effectiveness (meaning the healing spell duration) is divided into 2 categories, Main Healer & Secondary Healer. Main healers will heal you for about 7 seconds per session and secondary healers will heal you for about 3 seconds.
Main Healers: Danica, Maramal, Jora, Senna, Freir, & Colette
NOTES: *This is a ReMake of my old mod, Healers In Skyrim https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62576 all the way back in 2015. That version stopped working because of issues with scripts (I was very new to scripting at the time, and honestly still am) and had hoped that someone in the span of 8 years with more expertise would recreate the mod that would function properly, surprisingly nobody in the modding community did (probably just not many hardcore players in the mod community), apart for 1, but they only released a SSE version. So inevitably it was up to me, the original creator, to fix whatever I had messed up originally.
*This mod requires the latest update of Skyrim. *This mod is mainly targeted towards those who play in any way that involves little to no health regen (for example, Requiem) and with healing spell effectiveness SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. *If you have any problems with not having the dialog option available: Save, and then reload that save.
