I decided to revisit this mod for my LE setup, and quickly realized that any past issues I had with it were the result of an old mod I was using. It works as intended, and there is no script lag.
does this mod changes the enemies combat A.I. as in do they spam the shield bash attack. since the last sekiro combat mod i used, made the npc's spam bash every second. which made other's like me uninstalled it.
Not at all , they will do as what they are programmed to unless you put Ultimate Combat (since this really change NPC's combat behavior per race like when they wield shield they are getting defensive most of the time) or other behavioral mods. This version don't need Ultimate Combat since it's standalone but they are still compatible to each other.
good to hear the last sekiro mod i used set's up the blocking skill of npc's to 5-6 digits higher. in short even a low level enemy will stun lock you. glad this one doesnt do that.
AFAIK This is just the improved version of the OG Sekiro Combat. Meaning that this mod literally is just a simple Blocking Overhaul which allows you to gain stamina and stagger your opponents when you perform a "Timed block". The OG Sekiro Combat relied on Ultimate Combat to work which this one doesn't which is a heck of a lot more preferable than the old one, I still use Ultimate Combat though, this version just makes the timed blocking more responsive... A LOOOOOOOOOOT more responsive.
No Animation is involved in this mod, the only thing it adds is new Timed blocking mechanics, and pretty sparks when you or your enemy performs a timed block. I haven't tested it but the OG Sekiro Combat had a bug where it's Timed Block mechanic doesn't work when you're blocking a weapon that's cold enchanted, maybe it had something to do with cold draining your stamina while the mod is adding stamina when you perform a timed block. I hope this one fixed it, not sure. One final thing to note is that the OG Sekiro Combat's timed blocking stacks on top of Ordinator's timed block perk, which is kind of good since you could at least perform a timed block against a cold enchanted weapon granted that you don't gain stamina from the OG mod. This one stacks with Timed block perks too as far as I've tested.
Tested this and all it seemed to do was add a spark effect to timed block. I was expecting something a bit more, but that's fair enough, and there was absolutely zero script lag as far as I could tell, so that's definitely promising. I went on playing for a bit before getting the message "Dependence broken" which I had never seen before installing the mod. Hope that helps.
Maybe you have uninstalled a mod that has a mod depending to it. I doubt Sekiro Combat S is the cause of that error since this is a standalone version and has no dependency :)
As far as I'm using this mod version , I haven't encounter any script lag at all. Since Kittytail compiled all of the scrip in one file, this would make script load faster and the has a very responsive effect.
This is the lite script version.this is awsome!i tought that this is backport from the old SE version.I've been misunderstood at your description page.sorry for that 🙏

I don't see any changes to the combat animations.
