As of today, the release of the backports of JaySerpa's Taunt Your Enemies - Taunting Matters and Remote Interactions will be my last backports ever. I will not update nor release any more backports.
To be honest, the only mod that I really wanted to backport was JaySerpa's Use Those Blankets and nothing else. I went on a learning journey and learned how to backport for myself. Why did I even backport the rest of JaySerpa's mods? I was merely feeling generous and nothing more. I don't even use most of JaySerpa's mods at all, surprisingly.
I have been building my Skyrim LE modlist for over a year by now, and the list has grown to a nearly complete state, so I have since lost interest in adding any more mods and thus the process of modding itself. The process of backporting is tedious and annoying and slow and I don't see myself continuing at all when I have no more interest. I don't see my time spent on backporting as worth the effort anymore.
I will still be releasing a few personal patches as well as two of my in-development mods in the future, but at my own pace. After the near future plans finish, then I will no longer be on Nexus providing any backports nor new personal mods.
The mod would make sense if there was an Adrenaline indicator next to Stamina. If the Adrenaline bar is full, then player can Taunt the enemy. Otherwise, such a Taunt is nothing more than a cheat that gives an X% bonus to damage for X specified time. Nevertheless... an interesting idea. However, I won't use it. No offense, of course
The point is that you make yourself vulnerable (by doing a taunt during which the enemy can attack or kill you) and in exchange you get a bonus for a few seconds. It's not a cheat, it's a trade-off. You've seen enemies taunt you countless times in vanilla while getting no benefit and putting themselves at risk, now they get something in exchange. Risk/Reward.
