Take a break between Prophet and The Bloodstone Chalice quest's and go do something else.

Once you bring the Bloodstone Chalice to Garan, the Bloodstone Chalice quest will be end and that's it. No prophet quest and no quest marker, just go do what you want.
nothing will happen until you ask Garan "What can I do to help? (Start prophet)" and he says "I believe that Lord Harkon wishes to speak with you.".
After asking Garan the quest "Prophet" starts and you can continue the questline.
