can someone update this mod please for the DLCs
regarding the author, wouldn't if be all right to upload an updated version w/out his permission since he can't be reached in the first place...
and just remove it IF he says so when he actually comes to?

    Hello altogether,

I have a disturbing problem I cant solve! I have never installed anything like this & cant find a Mod that would use this.
Now, when I use BOSS (yes, its old & you know LOOT - sorry 32bit OS, wont work) I get a message:

"PTAlchemyOverhaul_SkillRate_(0|1)_\d{1, 2}\.esp" is not a valid regular expression. Item skipped."

How to Hell does this get into my System? Any suggestions or a list of mods that could include this?
I searched and asked in the Forum, no reply! Bothered the mod Authors of my mods till collinmacleod from Vilja Team told me this mod.

I don’t use a lot of mods, 19 esp/esm, 10 selfmeshed Texture Mixes & two Companions - Vilja & Recorder. Have installed the system mods manually, SKSE, ENB, so not listed in my TESMM (old OBMM)!

Should mention that I have no issues whatever, or just not noticed cause I don’t do much Alchemy, Vilja can do that till I decide to level this skill or ill just buy potions, got enough money.

Thanks for all you're passion for modding this game - far to much Mods to try all!
    Bye

It's a valid regex, but it doesn't indicate a valid filename.

      THX @hrmpk26,

its been a while now since i played this (currently in ESO). Thanks for sharing your knowledge, at least one :)
Still, dont know where it comes from and dont see how it could enter my Game. Didnt run in any trouble though, so i guess it wont matter anymore.

      Have fun all
      bye

Not sure if its bug or a "side effect" but based on with ingredient u will select 1st the power of the potion may change.
So if i want to make healing potion from ingredient "a" and "b" the potion may heal 3 or 4 points of health per sec depending with ingredient i will select 1st.
I also find the prices to low / not rewarding enough maybe.
But I dint come here to whine.
GJ on the mod. Finally no 5000 gold fortify health potions.
Now if only there was someone to remove banish enchant on weapons ( infinite money loop ) and such... ^^

Have found this strange effect too.
For example: Nirnroot and Red Mountrain Flower
If anyone know how to fix it please write me.

I really like that your alchemy mod drastically lowers the sell prices of player-made potions and poisons. Would you ever consider making a mod that leaves everything about alchemy the same except it makes the sell value of player-made potions and poisons only 10% of their normal costs (while keeping alchemy leveling progress the same)? I've been seeking out someone to make a mod like this to no avail. I've been saying it would better balance the game for Thief characters, who usually have many perks in alchemy. With a mod such as this, alchemy can remain the same for Thief characters and then also they can not get rich from selling potions and poisons and would have to rely on thievery and obtaining loot to make good money. Please write back and tell me what you think of this mod idea.

Phitt no longer seems active in the community (last active December 2015)
If anyone knows how to contact him, it might be worth it to get permission to update and continue this mod.

There are a few mods that accomplish similar bits, Skyrim alchemy fixed, complete alchemy and cooking, and my own Morrowind Miscellania for Skyrim SE are the few I can think of. I would carry-over most of his food changes in my own way, but I'm hesitant to use anyone's work as anything more than inspiration, even if they're inactive.

Agreed, but that is the problem. Id say roughly 3/4ths of the mods are broken (do not work as claimed, if at all) and dead (the author is entirely unreachable even to get permission for others to fix the flaws) This is by no means a new complaint of mine; Ive been pointing out the exodus of authors since 2014, as they get tired of the game (and that whole "paid mods" incident) Ive also pointed out that, inevitably, ALL mods will be incompatible if there is no upkeep. A perfect example is the PC version of Final Fantasy 7; I have the version originally released back in 1998. Its only been with the resurgent interest due to the remake that any effort was made to mod the work to be playable again.

    Nice mod but:
-It does not modify drink. I've never use nord mead (come'on 15 pts of stamina for slow staminarate ?).
    - It does not support dlc. (i.e Boar meat has the same effect)

I've edit this mod for my tastes but I've not published on nexus

    When I use the "PTAlchemyFoodOverhaul.esp", do I need a "...skillrate.esp" ? It's not so clear.

No, I think. These .esp are useful if you want alchemy skill grow more slowly.

I'm guessing this mod doesnt cover the DLCs at all?
