It's a saved game so to play it you need to copy it into your saved games folder and then load it after starting Skyrim, I updated the equipment and items to give you some better stuff and necessary items that is Daedric Armors, Daedric Maces, Cure Disease Potions, an Amulet of Arkay to give to that guy more Lock picks, some extra gold, etc "I also left the default items that the game gave you". To set your Race and Name you need to open the Console type in showracemenu and press enter as this has not been set for you. I would've probably made you as a female anyway. Or else you can play as the Male Nord Named Prisoner. I didn't add the Player to any extra factions so bandits and whatever will all still attack you like in a Normal Start..

I forgot I meant to update the Players Carry Weight the latest version Alpha3 has 600 Carry Weight instead of the default of 300. 
When I was converting this Save Game over to make a SkyrimSE version it reported that it was relying on a resource of the Unofficial Skyrim LE.esp so it may not work fully or at all with oldrim it was made with and tested on SkyrimLE with the Unofficial Patch.    

Like Stated this Starts you inside the Aretino's Residence so you can talk to Aventus and take his Quest "to kill Grelod the Kind at the Honorhall Orphanage in Riften" or just ignore him "but what fun is in doing that" really it's up to you but since you find yourself in Windhelm you can go strait to see Ulfric Stromcloak and join their rebellion against the Imperials although you have to complete their test first. All without having to ride on a Wagon, almost getting you head chopped off, and having to fighting your way through Helgen Keep.

Note the only trouble I had playing this save is that when a guy gave me a quest to bring him an Amulet of Arkay it would not show me on the map where I was suppose to get one, so if that happens to you, you can do like I did and just use the console to get one, Player.additem 000CC848 1 and then give it to him, I don't know if this is a result from my saved game or if it is just a normal glitch from Skyrim. Use at your own risk. 

I patched the save so it starts you on the Main Quest where you have to go to report to Riverwood and I fully tested this save it seems that some how although it tells you Hadvar said to visit his Uncle as soon as you travel outside to Skyrim the quest will change an will say to Talk to Gerdur Ralof's Sister instead and that is what you have to do, if you beat Ralof there. As it seems for some reason in this Alternative Start Save Game, Hadvar disappeared and Ralof is Actually still alive and somehow escapes from Helgen without you. If you use coc Riverwood immediately after walking outside into Skyrim "don't use it inside of Windhelm or any town it'll crash the game" and then start walking toward Helgen you will run into Ralof running to Riverwood.    

Also you can now go inside and see Helgen before it was destroyed and also go inside Helgen Keep and collect all the items because in this updated save when you flip the switch for the bridge it lets it down "instead of restarting the game" also it doesn't collapse behind you once you cross over it thus letting you get back out of Helgen Keep as you can't open the final door "Gate" that actually original let you out during the escape.
