So, have you ever heard of RE - Real Estate? I love that mod. I use it to roleplay as a merchant tycoon. One thing bugged me with it, though. You could invest in a mine and hire miners to work in it. But why could you never hire guards? These mines are in the wilderness, they need people to protect your workers and your investment! So, after contacting the mod author long ago for permission to do this, I finally got off my ass and actually did it. With this mod installed, if you buy a mine, there is a chance a guard will spawn instead of a miner. These guards will protect the mine and your miners against all threats and will also rush to aid you in combat if they spot you in it, since you are their employer. Enjoy!
