Build to provide you with a better gaming experience as a magic user.
Very straightforward. Fully preserves Vanilla feeling.

- Doubles the duration of Candlelight, Magelight, Oakflesh, Stoneflesh, Ironflesh, Ebonyflesh, Waterbreathing. Mana costs unchanged!
- Adds "Destruction Scaling" perk to the Destruction tree: the damage of Destruction spells now scales off Destruction skill level. +1% damage per level. (means +100% damage at Destruction skill level 100)
- Reduces stagger chance of the Impact perk from 100% to 50%.
- Increases combat magicka regen to 50% from 33% in vanilla and decreases dual-cast cost to 2.5x from 2.8x in vanilla.

If you don't want to spend a perk point in Destruction Scaling:
open console
type "help scaling" : this gives you the perk ID
type "player.addperk ID" where "ID" is the actual perk ID!

There is only one file in the archive: the .esp file.
Unpackage and copy it in the Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\Data folder to install.
Delete it to uninstall.
Or just use Nexus Mod Manager.

v0.11: changed Destruction Scaling perk description to hopefully fit better with other perk descriptions.
v0.12: fixed Destruction Scaling, it now works as intended and only applies its bonus to Destruction spells.
v0.12b: added HandyMagic_NoBalance as an Optional File. Only doubles the duration of listed Alteration spells, no Destruction balance.
v1.0: Impact stagger chance reduced from 50 to 25%. Combat magicka regen increased to 50%. Dual-cast cost decreased to 2.5x. NoBalance edition renamed to Original edition.
v1.1: Reverted Impact stagger chance to 50% from 25%. I felt that 25% was too low for the huge fireballs we're actually shooting; if it wasn't for realism, I would stick with 25% because it adds to the challenge. v1.0 still available as an optional file.
