PREFACE

I, Lucrezia, de-facto heiress of the great Lord Harkon, have found a profoundly productive way to spend our endless time - playing games. As there is nothing more productive than defeating one's boredom, the vice of all vices, it is a noble responsibility to play hard and have fun. Decadence is therefore the greatest benevolence.

Fortunetelling games have been a main repertoire of the past few centuries, but its allure has been waning. We have exhausted everything there is to predict of our limited court members. We even tried to prognosticate our life span, which is baloney for a vampire. Predicting the fate of every new cattle coming in hasn't been fruitful too, as there's as much variety in their fates as their monotonous rags.

Our latest session, however, revealed the arrival of a new blood. And the fortune cards are shuffling like a clothesline caught in a winter storm. A new spark has ignited the dying game and I sense an end is coming to our soporific days. I am willing to bind my own fate with this stranger and see how our common destiny unfolds.

Now, I shall tell you what the fortunetelling revealed.

HOW TO BECOME THE PRINCESS'S FOLLOWER

If royalty and commoners form a companionship, it's the commoner that's following the royalty not the other way round. Dragonborn or not, you must not forget that.

With that being clear, here's how you can become an honored follower of mine:
1. Become a court member by accepting Lord Harkon's gift and
2. Talk to me about offering your blood.
Pretty simple, right? Even the simplest of simpletons can follow this easy logic: If you want to be part of the court, you must JOIN the court.

CAN I GET THE SPELL TO CALL FOR YOUR AID?

Once we agree to form a companionship you can ask me about teleportation. I shall generously grant you the ability to call for my aid whenever you need.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DRINK MY BLOOD?

In return for my generous aid, I expect my subjects to offer me their blood. When I bite your neck, your stamina regeneration rate will drop by 10% for 20 seconds (this effect stacks if you repeat it in a short time), while my stamina will increase by 100 for 5 minutes (doesn't stack). My healing rate will also increase for the same time period, and additionally, I'll instantly regain 100 health and stamina.

WHAT IF I REFUSE TO TAKE HARKON'S GIFT?

I shall not speak to anyone who refuses to follow the aforementioned simple steps as I deem them unworthy. If you make the unfortunate decision of rejecting Harkon's offer, so be it. Hostility will split us until one eliminates the other.

ABOUT THE CASTLE SCENES

There are several scenes that occur automatically at the court involving me and the court members (namely, Vingalmo, Orthjorn, and Serana). In order to see them, the following conditions should be met simultaneously:
1. I should be at the court, not following anyone (being put to sandboxing mode by mods works too).
2. I should be near either Vingalmo, Orthjorn, or Serana. (Serana shouldn't be following you.)

There is also a dialogue triggered scene where you can bring Brelyna Maryon from the College and introduce her to me. This scene will trigger anywhere as long as Brelyna is a curret follower, and we are near each other.

Most of these scenes use a random dialogue system so they may vary slightly each time.

LESSONS AND BONUSES

If you ask me about the perks about being my friend, we can further talk about a magic lecture. If you go through this lecture your magicka will increase by 100 (which can be further amplified by Restoration perks) for 30 real-time minutes. Since you can bring me along to your adventures, you can get these bonuses almost indefinitely.

In addition, Faralda at Winterhold College will also start offering similar lectures. Faralda's lecture bonus is half of mine, but lasts 4 times longer as she's not a follower (unless you use mods).
The two lecture bonuses can stack, so you can have up to 150 point increase (not counting related Restoration perks) in magicka if you take both lectures.

SUMMONING VAMPIRE CATTLE AND ENTHRALLING DAWNGUARD MEMBERS

An additional bonus you can get from asking me about the perks about being my friend is learning the ability to conjure Vampire Cattle (lesser power). These cattle are pretty useless in combat but you can quench your thirst by drinking their blood whenever and wherever.

And now comes the big fun. After you finally storm Fort Dawnguard and wipe out their order, you can ask me about enthralling their members. I will gift you several powers to summon Dawnguard thralls once per day. These thralls should retain their original skill, items, and appearance (including whatever mod you're using), so it will give you a pretty satisfying feel to command (and even drink their blood!) our former Nemesis under your feet.

AND DON'T FORGET, YOU'LL MISS ALL OF THIS FUN IF YOU JOIN THOSE IMBECILE VAMPIRE HUNTERS!

POSTFACE: WHY I KEEP CALLING MY MALE SUBJECTS "PRETTY"

I know some of my male subjects, especially Orthjorn, has complained about this. They say it makes them feel awkward and uncomfortable. But that's exactly why I do this: men are cute when they blush. And I like the word "pretty." Besides, what's wrong with pretty men? Pretty and blushing men I mean...
It's what pleases me. Do not question thy royalty's tastes - for their tastes becomes the standard in their realms.
