If you're ready for a challenge, play as Rincewind -- the most incompetent wizard ever to fail basic studies at Unseen University, even before the rash mistake of reading one of the dangerous Great Spells. No other spell is foolhardy enough to share a mind with THAT! You'll need to start a new game, and choose the "Rincewind" race.

If you're ready for a challenge, play as Rincewind -- the most incompetent wizard ever to fail basic studies at Unseen University, even before the rash mistake of reading one of the dangerous Great Spells. No other spell is foolhardy enough to share a mind with THAT!
You'll need to start a new game, and choose the "Rincewind" race. You will start with no magical ability, no magic regeneration, and no ability to cast spells. On the other hand, you sneak well, and can run very fast, and you're handy with a half brick in a sock; and the Great Spell intimidates most magic which might otherwise harm you.
A robe and cape, Wizzard's hat, ragged boots, and a half-brick in a sock are waiting for you in a supply chest, either at the Guardian Stones or in your room in the Hall of Attainment.
