About this mod
Umbra's Ebony Armor is a simple, small mod that adds a unique set of useful (yet balanced) Ebony armor to Embershard Mine. It has the same base stats as Steel armor so you can look like a badass without feeling like you're cheating by using the console to spawn real Ebony armor.

Umbra's Ebony Armor is a unique set of Ebony armor that, much like Umbra's armor in Oblivion, is weaker than real Ebony armor but serves as a source of useful armor early on in the game.
It's enchanted with some effects that I think any player would find very useful, even if they're not a mage like me. The two effects most useful to the average player are fortify carry weight and fortify health. If there is demand for it I will replace the other enchantments with something more mainstream like fortify lockpick, fortify marksman or fortify one handed/two handed.
It is located in Embershard Mine, in the middle of the dungeon where you get the key to a barred door. It is on the same small table that the Clairvoyance spell tome is usually located. There is no shield or sword to match the set. I am thinking about simply moving the set into the cell that the skeleton is locked in so that it's easier to overlook/miss. Being rewarded for perception forms a good habit, don't you think? If I make that update, it won't be made known as a change in the description.
I will be adding more low level armors that look like stronger sets to more locations around Skyrim, so stay tuned for those. Since nothing else is currently in the works I'm open to ideas. I currently have plans to add armor sets to more dungeons, perhaps Bleak Falls Barrow? Would be an interesting addition in my opinion.
