Lore:
Ingrid was a waitress at Helgen's inn, during the attack she suffered severe burns to her body but she managed to survive and fled.
V2: She eventually made it to the Kynareth temple, Whiterun, where she is cared for by Danica.
V1.x: She eventually made it to Riverwood, where Orgnar took pity on her and let her live there in exchange for work. Her burned body has healed, but her scars will carry them for life and in order not to scare people she wears a full wizard's robe to hide.
