Hello, I'm trying to configure this mod to my liking but all I see in mcm are incomprehensible texts with $ symbols and vague explanations. How could I solve this?
Hi there, right now you can choose creature to spawn in either Skyrim or Solstheim worlds. Is it possible to add new world like Falskaar? I want to make some custom creatures only spawn in Falskaar. Thank you.
it is possible that this mod can spawn enemies from time to time ? I dont want to have one wave after another, just want unexpected encounter in current location.
Thank you for your replies. Yes, you can do it with TES5Edit. The following is the easiest way to spawn a mod creature. (it's not an add-on)
How to change the esp: 1. Open the esp by TES5Edit. 2. Choose a creature you do not need and select its FormID List. E01PaintedCow is recommended for the first try. 3. Change the NPCs in the list to NPCs of mod creatures. Multiple NPCs can be added like E01PenitusOculatus. 4. Save the esp and deploy it.
How to check if the creature spawns: 1. Load the game and open the MCM. 2. Set the creature's Spawn Amount to 5 and Spawn Level to 1. 3. Set Fake Player Level in Miscellaneous to 1. 4. Walk around the creature's Spawn Zone. Only the creature will spawn since the other Spawn Levels are greater than 1 by default. 5. Once confirmed, change the MCM settings as desired.
You may also want to change the creature name in UnlimitedHostileEncounters_english.txt.
that only will swap one creature to another right? and...i the only one that get stuck in combat? with this mod npcs become hostile to the wind combat song keep playng and there is nothing there i can fast travel trough.. may be on my end only trough idk
Yes, it is a creature replacement. You may have several different creatures you want to spawn, so repeat this process. If you were expecting an easier way such as importing all creatures at once, unfortunately there is no easier way than this.
Modification of mods is an action that requires a permission, so just to be clear, you can do this modification to change the behavior of a Skyrim that you own. If your expectation is not just to spawn mod creatures on your Skyrim, this permission is not enough, is it? Let me know what you are expecting.
As for the stack, I have no clue as I have not experienced it yet.
Man this literally tells me nothing. Is there a better way you can explain this? I'm not a TES game modding idiot or an idiot when it comes to Tedit or ckit but your explanations are literally kind of useless and I mean that in the most respectful way possible. This is literally telling me nothing and I've been at this for an hour or 2 doing my own trouble shooting and deciphering what they heck you mean.
If someone else can offer a more astute explanation or if he wants to then that'd be lovely. I'm sorry but this was super frustrating trying to piece together what you're trying to convey.
Again that article told me nothing and how exactly to implement new monsters into the summoning pool. I mean kudos to people who deciphered what you were meaning but I had to pass. Was wasting entirely too much time trying to change formlists with no results.
Not to s#*! on your work because you did an excellent job. This however just didn't translate over well so my apologies.
Hello! Thank you so much for your mod, it really brings Skyrim to life. But could you record a video instruction on how to add a creature from other mods? I tried to add it myself according to your instructions guide, but nothing worked out and I do not know why. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at TES5Edit...
Hello, please remove the Champion of Boethiah that spawns with the Worshipers of Boethiah. The Champion of Boethiah always wears the Ebon Mail. This is a Daedric artifact and should be one of a kind. Thank you.
I can suggest making this armor invisible in his inventory. like the armor of the Dark Brotherhood assassins, or the armor of the Dremora, or the thieves. Armor is worn on them, but it cannot be removed by killing the wearer.
hello .. i think it looks cool The Champion Boethiah wear Ebony Mail .. but , if this still necessary to change , don't replace the original files . (i mean just add those on optional file) sorry for my English ..
Things are invisible in the inventory if they are checked ‘unplayable’ in the armor object in creation kit or xEdit. If he were to mark the ebony mail unplayable then you would not get to use the daedric artifact ebony mail when you complete the quest to earn it.
I've tried all sorts of different settings but no matter what I've tried I can not get anything to spawn using this mod through NMM. I have set spawn chance to 100%, removed the check option for low leveled player, set fake character lvl to 100, max amount of enemies, lowered the encounter interval as well as the distance, set all options to spawn anywhere as well as any time setting, messed with misc setting for advanced settings boss attack and wave amount and just nothing spawns
I have tried a couple different kinds of mods that add random enemies but the closest one I've found so far that actually works is enemy encounters on steam workshop, which I prefer not using for mods if at all possible but I do have some.
I've run TOOL, tes5edit, and xedit's but nothing seems to help.
I'll keep trying various things and hopefully I can figure something out because from all the positive comments I've read, this mod seems like the best there is.
After messing with settings some more from reading through the comments, it started spawning enemies finally. Apparently I had to increase the misc. advanced setting boss amount.
It is too bad that this is your first post on nexus.
Could you try the following? 1. Set Spawn Interval to the minimum value. 2. Turn on Debug Notification in Miscellaneous. 3. Walk west from Whiterun to Rorikstead.
When you walk to Rorikstead, you will see in the upper left corner of the screen why enemies are not spawning.

I think the following tutorial is a good way to get familiar with TES5Edit. Give it a try.

After that, feel free to ask me questions if you have any unclear points in my article.
I'll figure out what to do with it in the next version.
Sorry for my English

If you meet the problem again, try the above.
Boss Amount can be 0 or 1.
Do you have any plan for making a spawn mod for dungeon/ruin? I used many spawn mods for interior but they were CTD and buggy.
I have no plans to create a dungeon spawn. Sorry.
