Vanilla Farmhouses are too grey, and a lot of other retextures are too clean. So using real stone and wood textures, I recreated the farmhouses of Skyrim, inspired by English cottages and northern wood cabins, making them rustic and cosy. The towns and villages now feel very "lived-in" and like they belong in a cold climate.

Textures are in 4k and 2k, and there are a few optional 8k files as well.


INSTALLATION

Install Main File - either 2k or 4k
Optional - Install v1.1 vanilla-style Update
Overwrite SMIM


OPTIONAL FILES

I have included optional files if you would like to mix and match. For example, if you like the grey walls and the dark door, install these after the main file and let them overwrite. You can also download them standalone and use them with other mods.



I HIGHLY recommend SMIM, as it fixes the UV maps - pillars will look slightly odd without, but not too bad

I did not do any parallax for these, as it can become quite dicey with the special edition snow shaders. To compensate I made the normal maps extra 3D.
