After I started using Campfire and Frostfall together, I found myself carrying a lot of firewood around, which, believe it or not, was really bloody heavy and as a matter of fact really bloody annoying, taking up all the space I originally intended for the good stuff!
The original firewood, as envisioned by Bethesda was never made to be carried around that much. Even other developers, after changing the whole thing up with their mods the authors of Campfire and Frostfall missed one tiny little detail, that made my Camping and Survival playthrough so much less enjoyable. I had my suspicions, that really, it shouldn't be that heavy. The tiny logs that our beloved Dovahkiin axes in his town of choice, can't weigh 5 whatever weird lore-friendly weighing method they use in-game, after they've been split in half! They're tiny! And halved!
So I went outside in IRL and got myself some of our finest firewood from our little barn next to the house. I went upstairs and weighed those woody mothertuckers and voila, the average was 1 kilogram! 1 Bethesda, not 5! 1!
So I opened up the Creation Kit and did what had to be done. Now I can finally play in peace and run around with hundreds of pieces of lore-friendly chopped wood in my pockets.
