Hi guys! I've been in contact with the original author and after a brief discussion he decided to transfer this mod's page onto my account and to also make it open source.
I have now uploaded an updated esp that has no ITMs or UDRs and therefore doesn't need any cleaning with Tes5edit. A future project of mine on this mod will be to start adding in more object bounds for items so that more things sit properly on the shelves.
If you would like to help out on the scripting side, feel free to toss me a message either in the comments here, or privately. I'll also be updating the description with more info, known issues, updated permissions etc.
Read info below before asking for help with troubleshooting
- Uninstalling scripted mods mid game is not recommended, it can end up causing permanent issues in your save file. I cannot offer support to people doing this
- Run a script latency check before asking about issues with books not appearing or appearing slowly, please provide the number you got in your report (Jaxonz Utilities latency checker is more accurate, but feel free to use the Convenient Horses one if you have that installed)
- Please provide a load order and mod list in your report as a pastebin or modwatch link. DO NOT post them as a big thing of text in the comments, its hard to read and makes the comments section a mess.
Playing on Xbox series X there has been an update to the USSEP so that in Lakeview Manor I select a bookshelf, hit take all, the sound plays and all the books appear in my inventory. Whilst the inventory page says that the shelf is now empty all the books are still visible on the shelf. If I then try to put books back, they duplicate - needless to say this play's havoc with my alphabetical storage.
Oh my God, thank you so much. I love having a library tower in Lakeview Manor but I hate how the books always fall over. With this I can have the vast majority of the books in the game in alphabetical order in my library. You are a legend, sir. I have the book covers mod as well and together I have put together a truly legendary library.
Seems the original author isn't active anymore--I just popped by because I remembered that this mod was the reason I began modding my game shortly after purchase back in 2015. Nowadays, I'm STILL looking for tweaks to various annoyances I have with the game. But back in the day, the first annoyance that got me modding my game was not being able to put all of my books on the shelves in Breezehome.

Is this mod compatible with the bookshelves in Build Your Own Noble Home? I had issues there, though I only tried putting books on those shelves. It' possible the issue is just with that mod. Also possible it's with all bookshelves in my game since I only used bookshelves in that area.
is there a way to fix this fairly annoying thing that happens with this mod?
all items always spawn a bit mid air, and afterwards they fall to the bookshelf, this is rather annoying since the item will almost always tip over. is there a way to make an item spawning not tip over? Potions are a great example of this, as well as other ingredients such as fire salts, void salts, frost salts, etc
