First of all thank you for this beautiful mod. Its very unique mod i got. For fun loving gameplay i would recommend apocalypse spell, ordinator and imperious. This mod suits alot with this 3 mods. Well in assassin creed Odyssey i think he have one pet eagle which he use to monitor enemies and places like DRONE. Here in skyrim i tried this technique with a spell name "MIND VISION" from the mod apocalypse.,but am having hard time . It doesn't seems to work or may be the birds are not considered as creature.. i love this mod. If anyone please try and replay me. Thank you. Endorsed.💕
This is great! Thanks for making! So I hate to be that guy but- I have a casual request. It's no biggie as I hate requests myself. But if you're so inclined it would be pretty sick to have Vulture option. I'm a scavenger in a dead world. A war rages, and where there is war there is death. Where there is death there are scavengers. I, an elderly Bosmer, unable to draw the bow any longer has resorted to the thing that disgusts everyone else the most, about Bosmer. It would be nice to have a companion that has as much fondness for carrion as I do. :-)
EDIT-My bad! You already have it planned. I'll just wait.
I am not able to talk to any of the birds. I tried reloading my save and also re-installing the mod but no luck. Hope you get back to me because this mod is awesome.
Spoiler Alert - Please make sure you downloaded the latest updated (9/14) version.
Sometimes there is a dialogue bug where you have to meet the NPC, save and then re-load and then the feather will be added under Misc not Ingredients. If you have that bird's feather in your inventory you will not get the "Catch Bird" option also. Since it seems you tried that, the feather script should fire OK but if you are unable to get the feathers by talking to them it may be a mod conflict. You can also add through console commands by:
1. Typing ~ then [Enter] 2. Type in: help feather 3. Note the object ID number for the feather you want to add. 4. Type in: player.additem ### 1 (This will add 1 of the feather to your inventory under the Misc category.) 5. Type ~ to close console
This will give you the feather so you can craft the amulet(s) and the summon book (if you do not want to find the book).
You need to speak to the bird first to get a feather. You should see "catch bird" when you speak/click on them. It should be this order: 1. Speak to bird > (Catch Bird) 2. Bird feather will be placed in Player inventory under Misc if the same feather does not currently exist in Player inventory 3. Craft amulet with feather and other needed ingredients and equip to have bird follow
Good job . Now all that we need is an enemy/location tagging feature from latest Assassin Creed games . Btw, can you try creating Bloodwing type bird from Borderland Series?
Honestly, I prefer these models, they're far closer to vanilla (and don't look weird). Would it be possible to get mihail's mod to use the models from this mod?
I have found that as they accompany my character on my travels, they help every so often and are not like a follower who fights in all battles. Most times you will be lucky if they are flying by and happen to get a shot off during a battle. I usually have to summon my bird during a fight to get them to join. I would try it for a while and if needed you can always just unequip the amulet or not summon the bird until you are ok with higher level.
I am currently working with this model: Mr. Siika converted by Tamira for Ravens and Vultures: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3323
I am not sure what type of vulture this is though.

Thanks for checking out this Falconry mod. I hope you enjoy your new bird companion.
All donation points for this mod are going to an animal charity (WCS).
There are four birds available and you don't have to be a Ranger to get a bird companion.
I built this mod to the best of my self-taught ability. If someone wants to tutor me on adding additional features I would welcome their advice.
