      I think it should work if you use the personalized music overhaul version for SSE: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2572?. Not sure about the vanilla files though.

      Which version of the mod are you using? If you are using the large version it requires personalized music: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13286. I strongly recommend using the no vanilla music option to ensure that no vanilla music is playing. It might be worth making sure that Personalized Music is above this mod in your load order. I'm not sure this is necessary but it might help.

      i was using the day one version, the only thing i got working was the main menu music. although i will try your suggestion  later.
