If you encounter a compatibility issue with another visual mod (eye replacer, face replacer, ...) , check the Freyja - Female Head Mesh Overhaul - Patch Center for a patch. If there isn't one, please report the incompatibility in the comments below or in the comments of the Patch Center. I will then decide if I am going to create a patch and notify you.
Do NOT optimise any mod files with CAO. They have been optimised already.
I love the work you've done! but unfortunately my character's eyes are stuck rolled back when I use your mods. And honestly i have no clue how to fix it
How would I check that exactly? Because now I fixed one area of it, no more weird eye position, its just the lips and eyelids are warped now, imma keep looking to see how to fix it though, thanks for your adivce!
EDIT: Figured it out, turns out that for some reason I'm just stuck on a preset somehow, I guess it has to do with a character's head mesh or something? because no matter what i cant seem to reset the model to what it would be if i started a new game
That's possible. If you were using a preset created for/in RaceMenu that was designed for the original FaceGen building blocks (i.e. the original Bethesda files), then that preset could look weird with my new files.
Just for clarification: To ensure that none of Freyja's files are overwritten, load it at the very bottom of your load order. In MO2, just place it at the bottom of the mod list. I'm not very familiar with Vortex, but it also should give you the option to load it at the bottom of the list and overwrite any files if prompted. And if you install manually, just dump all of Freyja's files in your data folder and let it overwrite everything if prompted. (Also make sure that if you install other mods, none of my files are overwritten.)
I had already read the installation article before posting, that's why I specified MORE detailed. Step 3 in the first part of the article is where I'm stumped, due to the apparent fact that more than one master file cannot be loaded at once. I use all three of falskaar, The Grey cowl of Nocturnal and the Underground bathhouse, all of which are ESM plugins that add female NPCs. Can you explain where I may be mistaken, or how to load the mods for FaceGen data exportation?
I actually forgot to ask a rather important question. How exactly does this mod interact with the SkyFEM mod? EDIT: Another question I forgot to ask: How do custom races behave alongside this?
Thanks! Yes, ECE is incompatible as of now (check the 'Compatibility' article). I may create a compatibility patch in the future, but right now, I'm busy with other things.
I'm running into an issue with this mod, it seems to be the only cause for the issue which sucks since I love the model but whenever this mod is active my character's eyes are rollled back
ah, i like these more than the male heads, but.. few of the girl characters you screenshotted don't exactly look salvageable, even with a neater face. xD Iunno.. perhaps its because some characters need a very long chin, odd eyebrows, or longer nose
Well, the characters in the screenshots are actually the original vanilla Skyrim presets. I wanted to show what they look like when using my .nif and .tri files. But since they look rather goofy to begin with, there's only so much my mod can do.
I mean, at least I have my own place and don't need to sleep on the top floor of the Drunken Huntsman ;)
Jokes aside, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. I personally think that while my mod definitely renders the women "cuter", it's none of that Lolita s*** you normally find on the Nexus, so that's a plus. But to each their own, I guess.
That looks interesting , but i think it would be better to put your mod on Steam workshop , where many people use Vanilla characters and npcs . Your faces are much better than the Vanilla ones .

Please consider endorsing if you like the mod.
I HIGHLY recommend that you also use Freyr - Male Head Mesh Overhaul.
The last project related to facial animation that I will do - a children's face overhaul - is in the works!

Happy gaming!
EDIT: Another question I forgot to ask: How do custom races behave alongside this?
Custom races should behave just fine, as long as they use the vanilla head morphs.
Some texture replacers add their own meshes, which would lead to an incompatibility (which can easily be solved by deleting these meshes).
but hey, this IS a totally custom head model :]
You need to go to the cloud district more often.
