About this mod

Ruinachs are giant four-armed monstrosities that serve as Dagon’s elite marauders, and of all the beasts that live in the Deadlands, they're the ones more alike to the Prince of Destruction in form and in fury. These fanatical daedra believe their race grew from Dagon's own flesh, thus claiming direct Dagonic ancestry.

"Ruinachs, also known as Ruinochs, Harbingers and Sarmissonays'um ghoul-things, this last one used specifically by Deldrise Morvayn in The Truth in Sequence, are four-armed monstrosities that serve as Dagon’s elite marauders. They don’t possess the ruthless cunning and strategic brilliance of the Dremora, but they make up for it in brute strength and unflinching loyalty to Dagon. Of all the beasts that live in the Deadlands, the Ruinachs are the ones more alike to the Prince of Destruction in form and in fury. Created in Dagon's terrible image and filled by fiery malevolence, a Ruinach is a terror to those who look upon this multi-limbed, muscle-bound monstrosity. They wear armor similar to the set used by Dagon himself in his invasion during the Oblivion Crisis, and appear in color variants from orange to intense red, and different sizes, although always gigantic. Unlike Dagon, part of a Ruinach's body is covered in thick, coarse fur, and their facial features are more bestial, with the horns on their skulls varying in shape and size.

No one knows Ruinachs’ true origins, but we do know they’re a relatively recent addition to Mehrunes Dagon’s army of immortal monsters. Some mages and historians believe they grew from Dagon’s actual flesh, an unforeseen result of Almalexia’s vicious attack during the Battle of Mournhold. The Dremora Clan think that’s total bunk, but the Ruinachs seem to accept it as gospel truth, and every Ruinach claims direct Dagonic ancestry. Their fanaticism runs so deep that they sometimes refer to themselves as the "Fifth Hand of Mehrunes Dagon" and believe they are a direct manifestation of the Prince’s will.

In combat they use their four strong arms to deliver powerful blows using a wide variety of daedric weapons. They also have powerful pyromantic abilities, summoning large fire meteors in combat. Thankfully for the people of Tamriel, the Ruinachs are not often found outside of Mehrunes Dagon’s realm, however, some reckless dagonic cultists occasionally manage to summon these daedra, which generally does not end well for them, and it is common for a whole group of cultists to end up charred at the feet of a Ruinach, furious at having been removed from the presence of his beloved master in Oblivion."

(OBS- If by chance when installing several of Mihail's mods at the same time you are asked about files overwriting those of other Mihail mods or other authors mods, don't worry because they are just the same files shared between mods. I recommend that on these occasions always give preference to the files contained in my mods, and among mine always give preference to the mod you are installing last.)

The Mihail Monsters and Animals series aims to create and make available to the community the most complete set of creatures for TES 5: Skyrim, implemented in an immersive and unique way, with respect to the pillars of lore. Instead of pathetically just throwing models and textures in the game reusing 100% vanilla mechanics, the creatures made by Mihail have uniqueness and extreme zeal in their idealization and implementation, which will provide you with an experience that you have never had before in this area.
