Lavender Cottage is a cute little farm, just outside of Rorikstead with a comfortable, grandmotherly decor. Outside it has a gazebo to sit with those dear to your heart after a long, tiresome day of adventuring. Fully navmeshed and has a lot of npc markers. All decor are static. 
If you feel like you've seen it before, you are right. I basically copied the house from my other mod: Grandma's Home (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/89136) because I liked it so much and I wanted to bring my family there.
Version1 has two rooms for 8 followers. Version2 replaces the second follower room with a children's room so it has 4 children beds and 4 follower beds. Only Version2 is adoption friendly.

This mod most likely isn't compatible with Rorikstead overhaul mods.

Requires all Skyrim DLCs.

Choose either of the versions, that you like more. Want to park 8 followers here? Use Version1. Want to adopt 4 children? Use Version2.
