Hey love the overhaul.. is it possible in some way to make it so that Erik when he changes into Erik the slayer keeps his original hairstyle? Or can that be changed in any way? <3
Guys help... Mod either doesn't work or has the black face effect or the bald head effect. I reinstalled, used LOOT to set the load order straight, then I manually changed the load order from the game settings and unequipped other overhauls. I put it near the bottom as instructed from the description too, nothing works. Any ideas? Boy do Farkas and Vilkas look creepy
Unfortunately the same thing happens to me, farkas and vilkas without hair and a somewhat strange skin tone (pity the previous version is not there, it worked better for me) P.D. ok if my error was loading order I had another mod that overwritten yours >_< sorry, they all look great xD, even though I was already used to how I saw them before xD, anyway thanks for the mod =)
It's a load order issue. Be careful with how you load your NPC overhauls, don't let LOOT sort them and make sure any patches you use are up to date and loaded in the correct order
how exactly do i fix this issue? i placed it at the very bottom of my load order and farkas is still bald with no face paint :-( vilkas looks how he should though
It's not just about the plugins, you need to make sure the mod's assets (meshes and textures) aren't overwritten by other mods. I don't know which mod manager you use but in MO2 you want to make sure your NPC overhauls are loaded in identical orders in both the left and right pane. I haven't used Vortex but afaik you have to set the "deploy order" so that your NPC overhauls load correctly.
Do you use a mod to remove hoods from mages? Falion just doesn't look as cool without his dreads lol. Some of the NPCs in this mod do have headgear removed (Aicantar isn't wearing his hood, and Cicero is hatless), but others do still wear theirs, such as Falion, and Skjor wears that mask thing that makes it impossible to see his new face.
I remove them in the creation kit for (some) NPCs while creating the mod, but there are mods that let you edit NPC outfits ingame too. This is what I use when I play and want to equip NPCs with modded outfits. However, that's not permanent and only affects the current playthrough. If you want to permanently remove Falion's hood, you can do so in either the creation kit or tes5edit but I recommend using the latter. Load up the mod, find Falion in the list and locate where you edit his outfit. Switch it from CourtWizardOutfit to PAN_Outfit_BlueMage. He might be naked ingame after that (unless you started a new playthrough) but it's easily fixed if you open the console, target him and type resetinventory.

He wasn't wearing anything in my current playthrough that I recall, but in a coc qasmoke game to see how some overhauls look before installing them, suddenly he was... Could be another overhaul mod I was testing edits his outfit... Which is utterly silly to edit someone's face, then deliberately cover it up. :P
It could be a mod that adds or edits armor through leveled lists, such as Immersive Armors and similar mods - if so, what each affected NPC wears is somewhat random on every new save :)
That does sound possible... If it is, I hope I find it, cause I tend to avoid mods like that at all costs, as they like to apply my custom race's body to female NPCs when they wear armor I BodySlided just for her.
Does 1k update include no face paint options? I am asking because 1k update for your other npc mods did not have this option. I had to revert back to original.
I don't have time to make a whole fomod installer for the performance textures so I bundle up my personal picks. If you want other options, you can pick your faves in the main mod installer as usual and run all the facetints through ordenador or another texture optimiser program
