In case anyone else has a problem installing this mod (v2.4) with a recent NMM (0.61.23), this might help. In my case, NMM appeared to install the mod, but it never actually copied the files into the Skyrim installation.
I fixed this as follows: 1) Uninstall and DELETE the mod from NMM. 2) Manually download the mod. 3) Edit the ZIP file and delete the "\omod conversion data" folder and its contents. 4) Import ("Add mod from file") the modified mod into NMM. 5) Activate and it should work now.
works perfectly and is a very nice eddition in my current playthrough as a hunter, something that should have been added from the start from Bethesda. highly reccomended.
Is it possible for either someone to explain how to make these animals appear spectral using the CK or for the modder to upload a version with spectral animals? I've tried searching online but couldn't find anything on it.
This is a great mod. Thanks for making it. I did go into the CK and change the animals to appear like ghosts (you actually don't hit the check box, that makes it so they can't be killed...there's an ability you give them that does the effect--just like Oblivion). But other than that it's working great.
Still haven't worked up to being able to cast a Spriggan. (My limitation is simply that I haven't put a single point into magic, so perks and enchanted equipment are going to be required to cast the thing.)
So close. I keep looking around for a good mod to add more summons, but every time the animals look just like normal animals. The summon mods that have animal summons I keep hoping are more spectral like the familiar summon is. Spriggan and more elemental based "summons" are the only ones I feel can get away with the game's normal skin.
