Thanks for backporting this. I do have the question on MEZF - Missing Encounter Zones FIXED. Can we just use the special edition version? Or is there another mod that can substitute this?

No problem! I don't think there's a mod that does the same for LE. I backported Missing Encounter Zones Fixed - Vanilla Fixes for personal use, since it's a .esp that only reference vanilla masters it's easier to backport, you can download this script and paste it in TES5Edit/Edit Scripts folder, than load the .esp and right click -> apply script and choose Convert SSE to Skyrim. Loading and saving in oldrim CK does the same.

If the author authorizes I can post it tho, I'll see

If the xEdit script you linked to is the one I also have (probably likely) - were you able to make it work?

I tried converting MEZF myself to LE using that, but found (via xEdit) that one of the records contained an error (something to the effect of "could not be resolved"), so I removed it from my load order as I wasn't sure it was safe.

I should probably try it again & at least include a screenshot here, as I don't remember the specific ID.

I think it's the same, this script was from an older tutorial for backporting mods which was deleted, luckily I randomly saved the link page lol.

In fact I had the same errors and all of the records were "RiverWaterFlowNE" or water related. I had no issues running the game even with this errors, my guess is some rivers flow would be messed up or have no water flow at all. But I corrected them manually later, overwriting this error values with the ones from skyrim.esm and everything is working fine

Looks like that "RiverWaterFlowNE" was one of those - I also found something called "CreekWaterFlowNW" and one more.
I'll take your suggestion of overwriting these with the vanilla ones from Skyrim.esm and see. Thanks for the input!

Do you know if there a patch that makes this mod compatible with WAFR True Weapons level lists ?

Thanks a lot for backporting this and SRCEO!

You're welcome! I don't think there's a patch for WAFR, but a bashed patch or smashed patch can help a lot with the leveled lists. Your best bet would be a bashed/smashed + create a manual conflict resolution .esp in xEdit in case some leveled list entries are ignored in the bashing/smashing process.

I tried but actually don't know what to forward and how to adjust the level to be consistent with SRLEZ, for example see xEdit screen
If anyone who has experience merging level lists properly regarding WAFR True Weapons and CACO it'd be great !
