How to start:
Go to Solitude market and talk to Bucksworth. If Bucksworth wont talk to you, saving and reloading should fix his dialogue.

Gameplay Tips:
You can use stealth to avoid fighting the difficult mobs.
To kill everything you should have a powerful character. The mobs are often very strong.
You progress mostly by finding "keys."
There are no quest markers for various reasons. You shouldn't need them.
Extra info:
I recommend you install Tamrielic Textures, for certain textures to look the way they do in my pics.
