    Stupid question here:

I don't use ENB (except for the ENB Boost Patch), and don't have Parallax files in my game otherwise (not yet at least)

Will simply installing your mod + its Parallax Patch (overwriting), be enough to get the effect on this mod?  No need for anything else, for it to work ?

you need an ENB to make parallax work for LE...
There are some very performance friendly 'Parallax only' presets here on Nexus if you worry about FPS...

Ty, okay. Yeah.. my rig is pretty old.. only 3gb on the GPU .. (780ti-classified, i-7-4930K, 32gb ram).
I'll try some performance setups and see what I can squeeze out of it. Thanks again

vewy nice work, although I am having some trouble with getting the flowering branches to appear on the tree and I have tried everything. Do you know what I could do to fix this :D

Edit: Can confirm I am the dumbest person on the internet rn, sorry :) fixed it

Really excellent work, Hein84! I particularly like the addition of the cobwebs for the dead version. It really makes the tree look more dead. I spotted a bug in one of the meshes though (please see bug report).

      I'll have a look!
      Thanks for reporting
Yeah I found adding flowing sap to the living tree and vermin to the dead one would give as some extra eye candy;)

Fortunately our bug is a small one, I even think it looks better without that web visible from underneath ;)
let's keep it the way it is

I've come back to say this really is something nice. Did you increase the size of the tree mesh too? Puts the other Gildergreen retexes I've used to bed. Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Noble, Amidian. All had acceptable enough leaves, but the bark textures were lacking in that I thought the trunk and branches were a little too smooth looking. SFO did the best job in that regard in my opinion until now. This best captures the look like the bark of a tree (not using parallax either). Thanks again.

      You are welcome mate!

Yeah the tree meshes are heavily changed... they are slightly bigger and have twice as much branches to add more complexion (original model looked quite 'naked' imo). I also added little things like flowin sap for the living tree (img one) and spider webs for the dead one...
      heva fun!

Amazing, only issue is I usually take the other path on that quest, still good excuse to try the other way (for once).

Thanks for all your hard work.
