I AM NOT DEAD (Not like anyone cared anyway xP) Nor is this mod dead. The only thing dead here, are some of the grasses used in the marsh, I guess.
Very horrible jokes aside, what is the current status with Fgawtft? Soooo, private life has been pretty much giving me very little time to spend on modding and I don't have my PC with me currently, will soon change tho, issue with that is that I have only my laptop available, which works for everything I wanna do, even modding related, but I don't have access to all my files for Fgawtft.
I've seen that many of you still follow my mod and seem to desperatly wait for an update especially the Complex grass feature. I am really happy to see how many use my mod and sometimes I find one or another picture on Nexus where I can spot my mod, so I am really grateful for the support and the love it gets, so thank you!:D
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nowww, let's get to what the future looks like:
1. Haven't figured out yet how to properly create the normal maps for the textures, every try so far was a failure and hadn't had time to ask someone with a bit more experience, but I will get to that. Once I figured it out, I will create a full patch to be used with my mod, so you can enjoy having both Fgawtft with the fancy new Complex Grass features.
2. There are things here and there that I want to change, polish and get a bit nicer. There are spots in the endless fields of grass I just don't like yet, especially the 2.0 update, for example the pine forest, which I was never happy with to begin with. So there will be some changes.
3. Was thinking about adding a complete patch for the mod to work, or rather said, get all the features, for Seasons of Skyrim. So adding all missing seasonal variations for the grasses. This obviously will take a bit of time and for that the updated grasses and Complex Grass textures will have to be done first, so this won't be smth to expect for the 3.0 update, but I like the idea of working on fully seasonal grasses especially parts likethe tundra and pine forest. >-<
4. A thought also roaming the endless halls of my head, was to make the mod more modular. Beeing able to choose certain regions and using it on top of other grass mods. This will of course just be for the base mod and will not have seasonal support...probably...tho you can never be to sure about something.
That covers pretty much all. There are many more ideas I have, but for now this should suffice. ^-^
But
If there any ideas, thoughts or things you noticed that could be edited or changed or added, I am always open for suggestions. Or if anyone got some good piece of advice or knowledege about the creation of textures to use with the Complex Grass features, I am all ears, well not literally of course (Maybe someone will get this reference).
Thank you for your patience of reading through all of this information. :P
So, v2.0 rolled out. Got some new things, some cool edits. But also a SE version now, that you can download in the files section. Comes with a fomod including the two optional v1.0 files. Thanks to Daralima for that! I hope it works properly.
Also, in case you don't like the tundra grass of my mod, did you knew you can use UG2R's amazing tundra grass together with my mod? Just install the mod, check the optional tundra file, then delete "UG2Redux.bsa, UG2Redux.esp and UG2redux.ini" and only use the UG2Redux_TU files. Load them after my mod and you should have it's beautiful tundra!
Hi! This grass looks amazing, and well done! Is there any chance to request permission for an Xbox port? All appropriate credit would be given of course, with links back to this page. I just think a lot of console players would really like to try this!
Dear author, you have fantastic grass. It fits well into the landscape. In terms of resources, it did not affect performance at all. Everything is very smooth, beautiful and juicy with ENB. I want to clarify whether it is possible to make the leaves on the territory of the Riften not hang in the air?
I want to thank you for this mod and your work on it!I've gone through a lot of similar mods in an attempt to change or add grass to my Skyrim. The biggest drawback of many mods was the discrepancy between the colors of the grass and the surrounding surroundings. In this regard, your grass harmonizes quite well with its environment. The use of short grass, or a combination of short and tall grass, is also very wonderful! This is a huge advantage over other mods that make all the grass tall!
Minor shortcomings of the mod include - some plants are 2D.Your mod also removed some plants from other mods that changed textures and meshes but did not have ESP.But the advantages of your mod outweigh these small disadvantages. That's why I chose your mod and I'm very happy with it! Thank you! I look forward to updates if there are any!
Good grass, at least better than many others out there because colors are not too saturated and fits natural. Includes some pretty flowers, plus really performance friendly. Would be great if there was brown tundra option, just my opinion, Thanks.
Yeah, I'd believe so too actually. xP There will be a its own seperate page, if I find the time and ambition, to finally properly update it to 3.0, cause in its current state the mod is kind of a mess at many regions tbh, atleast in my eyes. I do hope, I manage it, most likley not this year, but next year, early tho, there could be an update .°. Also I need to figure out how to get complex grass to work properly aswell. That is the current main issue aswell. .-.
It is the best grass Mod imo because I´m looking for antural vanilla+ style. Every type fits perfect into the region and looks so beautiful. Thank You,
After trying ALL grass mods on Skyrim SE for the last couple days I think this is one of the most pleasant looking grass with unobtrusive species (excluding some of the "pine forest" option) and also light on the graphics card (although it eats up to 10%, especially around Whiterun, of my 1050Ti comparing to "Grass FPS Booster" mod, both at 60 density) with no FPS loss. Hopefully the author will upload the SE version on Skyrim Special Edition so more people will find this wonderful mod.

Btw. if you made some great screenshots, don't be shy and post them! (but please, no nsfw shots. It's about grass after all :P)
Fantastic grasses made it into the hot files. I never would have thought to many people would enjoy this mod. You guys are breathtaking!
