Ever notice how, after you swing a weapon, especially 2 handed, you get stuck in that "swung" position, while lame skeletons hack at you about 900 times? Some would call this "balanced". :-/ I was looking for a simple solution, and settled for weapons that just swing faster. They look just like Steel weapons, and you can craft them at any forge with the Steel smithing perk.
There are 3 versions of this mod reflecting different weapon speeds:
Faster - 1.5 x vanilla Hyperactive - 2 x vanilla and Postal - 3 x vanilla. (Serious MAYHEM!)
Only one file is needed.
The "Faster" version seems to adequately correct for the post-swing lag. "Hyperactive" would give you an advantage.
The eponymous version is there for anyone who has ever felt like going "Postal", shredding enemies to smithereens. (Doesn't that mean everyone?) 8-D
If you want to sample all 3 levels simultaneously, I have included a fourth .esp that enables crafting all 3 varieties.
