VERSION: 1.00.60 Optimized textures. Added meshes to be ported to SSE to address visual issues.
VERSION: 1.00.50 - Changed custom outfit behavior. Clara will only wear cloak during inclement weather. Gloves and pack are standard. No accessories worn while in Playerhomes (applies to Hearthfire homes and correctly coded custom homes).
- Home sandbox is expanded so Clara idles the entire home, including Hearthfire homes.
- Relocation options (home and rendezvous) will disappear from Clara's dialogue once it's been set. Dialogue will only appear once player is far from marker radius.
- minor other fixes. VERSION: 1.00.01 - Player can chose the default outfit with the backpack (cannot place armor over anything) or customize Clara's loadout like other normal followers. Clara will remove her entire custom outfit and player is free to put whatever on her.
- Subtitle and audio re-checked to confirm everything was correct. Grammar also fixed.
- "Wait at home" has been suppressed. Clara will still dismiss to her starting location but will go to the "home/rendezvous" location once it has been set. Note: You can only set one location at a time. "I want you to consider this home" will only appear if you are inside a Playerhome. "This will be our rendezvous point" will appear for all other locations. If you set a "rendezvous point" then she'll forget about "home" and vice versa. Keep that in mind. The behavior is the same but a new dialogue option has been added for immersion's sake.
- Dawnguard is required master now. The other DLCs will also become required if I add experimental alchemist feature. Clara will be the first true alchemist companion in Skyrim in that she'll make potions from required ingredient components. I may add a gathering feature as well.
- Clara's horse behavior is changed. She is summoned (near) off-screen and Clara will go to her to mount. Clara will not attempt to mount until you start moving away.

Will there be an SSE version? Yes. Will improvements be added? Maybe. Awaiting for permissions from Druundev to add improvement. Yes. What improvements will be added? 7 new quest, 1500 additional lines of dialogue, 13 intra-companion conversation. Was that last comment a joke? Yes. Only minor changes will be made. This is primarily a bug fix mod.
There will only be one or two more updates for this patch. The first will be to finish the subtitle issues and fixing the horse mounting problem. If you want something added in (remember enhancement are awaiting permissions) or if there's a bug I haven't fixed or has gone unreported. I suggest you speak up as quickly as possible.
Directions: Install the patch in a separate folder from the original companion mod. Do not drag and drop it over your original files. READ THE CHANGELOG.
Then I have no idea what's wrong with your game. I've changed nothing with the patch and it's always been functional. Give me a minute. I'm sure I added a command to force her to auto-teleport.
Console commands below should put her in follow mode and she'll auto-teleport when you get out of range: set Clara_Teleportation to 1 setstage Clara_followquest 10
She should come to you at that point or you can fast travel to a new location. If she still doesn't appear then I don't know what to tell you.
Wasn't sure whether to enter this here or in the Bug section, but something is seriously wrong with this mod. Clara refuses to stay put when ordered to do so. And it makes no difference if I use her own follower system or something like AFT. She just won't obey. The result of this was that in Rannveig's Fast, instead of staying where I ordered her to remain, she followed me toward the word wall and promptly fell through the trap doors that psychotic wizard had set up to trap people in his cages. I managed to rush through the remainder of the dungeon so as to open the door to the area where Clara was being held, and fortunately, he had neither murdered her (yet) nor began his sick experiments on her. Keep in mind that she was the only young, hot girl among a ton of older men. So that wizard seemed to be having a great deal of fun salivating over the prospect of having a "good time" with her. When I slaughtered him, Clara, in her blind innocence, seemed not to understand anything of what had almost happened to her.
Anyway, this wasn't all that has happened with this mod. Believe this or not, when doing the mod "Hel Rising", about half way through the mod, I simply could not believe my eyes when Mia, of all "people", just showed up down in one of the deepest corridors of that dungeon. How this crazy horse managed to get all the way down into the lowest part of this dungeon is beyond my ability to understand. But somehow, she did it. And this wacko horse followed me around the remainder of the dungeon/quest, even all the way into the room that is supposed to be Hel's private room of death. Why this horse did not die in this room is beyond me. But even Clara was there, running around like a nut.
Obviously, something is quite seriously wrong with the Clara mod. First, she MUST learn to stay exactly where and when ordered to do so. I've had to order her using her follower system and AFT about half a dozen times and she STILL ended up following me around High Hrothgar, even getting right in the way when I had to demonstrate my Unrelenting Shout to the Greybeards. And that horse! You can NOT have that wacky horse following Clara into these dungeons. This simply is not acceptable by any means whatsoever.
Please fix this. Meanwhile, I have uninstalled Clara, in the hopes that you will fix these glaring game-breaking problems with her. I did not wish to delete her. Other than her obvious and radical defects, I enjoy her very much. I love her sweet innocence, her simple kindness and her fiery outbursts when in battle. She is a wonderful character and I truly hate to lose her.
?Chalk this up to "It's just you". Mia doesn't move unless it detects you're mounted and Clara is active. Disable all your mods until only Clara is active and play around. Then enable mods 2-5 at a time (starting a new game each time) until you narrow down what's causing the problem.
Okay so Clara unofficially officially has a new home. I called first dibs on an alchemist home by Mihail. Upside, she is no longer a vagrant. Downside, the filesize is HUGE and it needs to be cleaned up so it fits more in line with her character. I THINK I can come up with a cross-over quest for Serenity and Clara to accomplish two goals at once. Just a random thought.
Do you guys actually use both "home" locations for Clara? There the custom location ("home") and this initial location that you first meet Clara if you dismiss her from your party. This seems unnecessary. If you dismiss her I would expect her to the home location you've set rather than you having to tell her to specifically go there.
you know my real issue the big bug that really need to be fixed is that dam summon spell forget about voice dialogs and all that the summon spell is first priority in my opinion
The Summon Clara spell needs to be fixed. That has been an ongoing issue ever since version 1.2 dropped... The spell doesn't work & fails to summon Clara to the player's location which indicates an issue with the script that controls it...
The Infinite Gloves issue was supposed to be fixed in version 1.2. I have 1.2 on SSE & have yet to see the gloves respawn in-game... The issue would trigger upon a cell change after trading items with Clara regardless if one gave her better gloves or not. If the gloves given by the player were better vs Clara's default gloves, these would spawn in her inventory instead, which led to her becoming overencumbered eventually...
Did you actually install the patch and test the change that I made to the summon spell to address that bug or are you just pointing out it exists?
Clara isn't built like other companions. She's always in "follow mode" even when she's dismissed. I took away one of the block conditions so that she can be summoned anytime she's further than 2048m away from the player.
I'm pointing out that the Summon Clara spell bug exists & wasn't mentioned in the Stickies... The distance from the player didn't matter nor did it matter whether Clara was recruited or not. The spell would not work under any circumstances whatsoever. Bethesda navmeshing is beyond horrible & I don't know how many times I've lost Clara in-game due to her getting stuck in the game world. When the summon spell worked, it was a GODSEND in moving Clara to my position in-game & therefore getting her unstuck in the game world due to Bethesda's piss poor navmeshing.
Ah. So I was doing the duplication steps correctly. Chances are this occurs with boots as well but the boots are invisible to the player. It was the only logical trigger I could come up with because the re-dress code doesn't check for existing custom equipment. This is an easy fix.
Clara is by default a passive (and scary) follower. What about a feature that alters her aggressiveness and disposition towards crime? The more hostile creatures and people you kill, the more aggressive she becomes. The more crime you commit, the more her morality changes (though I haven't decided if it's opposite or in line with the player's activity).
