I'm having the same issue as Darkangel13. I really don't mind the lesser effects, in fact sometimes just flat out disappearing is better than the original. So, if you could get around to checking it out sometime soon, it be very much appreciated! :-D
He didn't upload a separate eye glitch fix, because those effects are the fix. The problem is the normal visual effect causes the eye glitch, and the only way we can fix it is by getting rid of the refraction, resulting in, well, this.
org post was from Darkangel13. 10 September 2012, 2:14AM @West9 Now that there is a new mod that fixes the invisibility eye glitches and still keeps all the vanila effects can you make the chameleon spell as a single separate mod? Thank you. Starke came next. ---- My question is now version 5 , without the spell, not enough to fix the eye problem?
The mod don't seem to work with mods that add invisibility spells like "The Elder Scrolls Tomes" or "Apocalypse Spells". It not only will not work but it'll also remove any invisibility effect that those spells had previously. How can i fix this myself? Or could you add patch files? If you tell me how to do it i could create a patch myself.
Excellent mod, precisely what I was looking for! Doesn't seem to work with all forms of invisibility ( Vampric Thirst invis makes you about 90% alpha, some other invis's don't work at all), but it appears the vanilla forms are perfect. I love the translucent outline shimmeriness, makes it much easier to line up thoes backstabs. =)
In reguards to the vanishing eye thing, I understand why it happens ( many years of SL building); the simplest fix I found is console "showracemenu". This forces a rerender of the eye textures, when you return to the game all is well again. This mod is superior to that, as we dont have to break immersion. Thanks again!
Love this mod. I actually prefer the effect to complete invisibility. And I tried (I think) every other eye glitch fix on Nexus and this is the only one I found that works for NPCs. (I use it with Queen of the Damned - a mod for Serana that adds an invisibility spell for her.)
I know that this mod is old and no one prolly give af, but when I start my game, everything is normal, my character and npcs doesn't glitched out eyes, but after I play while, all effects, like mist, smoke and fire starts to flicker and then all eyes have disappeared, what the hell is this, this is creepy. first time when this happened, I had overclocked my gpu really high, so I just thought that its gpu related problem, but then I removed overclock and this still keeps happening. Did I just break my gpu? I don't see any graphical glitches or have problems in any other games.
Thank you so much! I don't want to use SKSE or stuff like that given my computer idiocy level, and another fix I had found messed up whatever mod I was using for my vampire eyes. This did the trick and I don't find the invisibility effect (clean one) bad at all -- different, but not bad). That eye glitch was bugging me for so long until I figured out what was triggering it, and now thanks to you it's fixed. Much appreciated.
Thanks for this mod, it not only fixes what it says, but I had an FPS problem with the chameleon and muffle spells that if I cast them I'll get an FPS drop even if I'm not in combat. Around 5 to 7 in FPS drop, but not anymore.

Make another mod.
A mod Fix Eye.
Justfix EYE.

And does it work with custom/added invisibility spells from other mods?
I'm still looking for best invisibility eyes glitch fix
