    BEFORE UPDATING, TAKE ALL THE WEAPONS PLACED ON DISPLAY RACKS AND DISPLAY CASES AND DISMISS YOUR CURRENT STEWARD. IF YOU ADDED 6 BEDS FOR YOUR CHILDREN, GO TO CHILDREN'S ROOM, LOOK AT THE CEILING AND ATIVATE THE INVISIBLE ACTIVATOR FOR KIDS BEDS. YOU NEED TO HAVE 4 BEDS FOR THE UPDATE WORK PROPERLY.

    BUG FIXES:

    - Invisible wall at childrens bedroom
    - display cases too small
    - dark lights
    - npcs wandering in your house and garden
    - improved quests and dialogues

    SMALL CHANGES

    - The steward now manages the lights and meals inside the hall according to the time of the day. Sometimes you can find them
    all disabled because you slept or fast traveled/avanced time. You can wait till the steward get the lights and food set again (it won't take long) or activate them using invisible activators placed on the side table near dinner table and beside the pilar in the kitchen
    - Changed office's throphy room for display cases. If you had a trophy placed there, you may need to use console and disable the existing throphy.
    - Added more display racks for shields and weapons
    - Small changes at the garden to prevent npcs bumping into the terrace
    - Now you have 6 beds for children by default.
    - You need now to have santa hat equiped to be able to ask your steward to add christmas decoration

    NEW FEATURES:

    - Exchange the kids bedroom for a guest bedroom by talking to your steward
    - Invite a guest once you exchange kids bedroom
    - Invite your wife to live at the house using new routine packages
    - invite followers to live in your house (up to 5)

    Hey guys! Decided to make a little surprise for hollidays :D We are in such hard times and we can't stay with our loved ones, so I wanted to do something special for the game :D Hope you enjoy it :D

    ye ye another update haha I really hope the last one before the Outside Version

    First Thanks to Falagar517 who so kindly recorded a video showing some bugs that were occuring on his game. That helped me to fix some of them.


     Speaking of them - what's new?

    - Better performance inside the house. That was the main problem, and I managed to fix it :D
    - no more disappearing walls and pillars that happened to some people
    - no more use smelter on the stairs
    - fire activator on the follower's fireplace
    - Better collision on the outside building. I got a bug report about the lack of collision on the building as if I used the wrong mesh, but actually I HAD to turn it's a collision in order to keep the arch entrance and stair useable by NPCs. To solve that I placed some collision planes around it but they weren't working as expected, so I fixed them. Now you can't go through walls or enter the building if entering the 3rd person mod when at the balcony. Ah and the balcony looks better as well, no more stone floors bugged.

    Some of you reported that often leaving the house, you end up stuck between the terrace and floor. That's an incompatibility bug caused by some building or stuff placed where the door is. Check the mods that may be placing stuff there ( I know bells of Skyrim is one causing this) and comment here.

    Thank you so much for supporting my mods and for all the kind comments. It's not always I can answer, but I'll do it as I can.

    Well, I've been seeing some video reviews and some of your comments, so I decided to share a new update with some improvements on the house :)

    - Bug fixes: Flickering walls, forge lighting the stairs and probably something else I can't recall rught now haha
    - Lighting improvement
    - A room for your steward: Dismiss your current steward and hire back so he can track his bed to sleep inside the house
    - Lore unfriendly furniture: Talk to your steward to take those furniture out 
    - Leaves on the ground: Talk to your steward to clean the floor
    - Better pool layout
    - Autoclosing doors

    About some patches requests, I really suck at that, so I kinda had an idea to copy the house outside the city, so people who use open cities, dawn of solitude and JK solitude won't have incompatibilities. I'm still deciding where to place the house, but that's something on my plans. If any of you know someone who is willing to create the patches for the house, feel free for it and share it on your profiles, all I care is the house being available for all users who appreciate it :)

I don't want to break anything changing that, so be sure to hire bards from solitude - pantea worked just fine - or custom bards from other mods. I'll share another mod with some bards I'll create to be hireable for mine or other modder's homes who uses the hiring utility)- Hire a steward

    If you placed special stuff on the busts and book shelves on the office room take everything back before updating :)

    I have six beds for children by default, can you tell, please, how to fix it?

      You can enter the kid's bedroom, look at the ceiling right when you enter. There's an invisible activator where you can switch between 6 or 4 beds

    I believe this mod is very old from what I saw looking at the dates in the comments.
    I don't even know if the Author still comes here to see the posts.
    I hate this type of bed, look at the photo and see, at some point you always get stuck inside it because of those damn bars above the cushion.
    I got stuck with Lydia as soon as I married her and had sex, neither I nor she, even squatting, can get out of there.... real rubbish, they want to follow the standard of the city's beds instead of putting a double bed like they have in the houses that we can build.
    Something that is good to the eye is not always good to use.
    The house was wonderful, but the only thing about hiring an NPC for the house that worked was a maid who acts as a butler.
    I hired a female bard, paid 150 gold and she never showed up at the house.

    Hello, thank you very much, the house is very nice, I was excited where the masks are because I thought that next to it you could put the dragon claws but they are only for books.
    Can you tell me if there is a way to remove the automatic undressing when you want to enter the small spa?
    Also how to remove the doors from closing automatically, it is quite uncomfortable to open them every time you turn around

    I was searching for a compatibility list. Regarding Solitude as a quite popular aim of mods this would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    I was checking on Hjertesten Hall.... which have not heard from you on... and found this one.
    Upstairs tub not deep enough. Downstairs pool not deep enough... hits me at the knees.
    Upstairs facing the children's bedroom is a mannequin to the left of the door. From the table side everything is fine. Go through the door, take 3 steps and look left.... no wall. Not only can you see the mannequin and room... but there is a light blue strip along the wall and can see the lower level. I can make a screen shot if you want.
    I like the idea of lighting my own fire but... the fire in the kitchen... the logs are down too far. This is also true with the fireplace behind the dining room table.  I used the "Jackson positioner" to raise the logs when in the fire mode.
    I am seeing a lot of "clipping" in the house, places flash light blue and go back to texture. I brought several followers. When leaving and going back in the followers would suddenly appear on the main floor. So do the children. Then they would return to where they were. I tried using the console "collision" to see if there was a problem.... but it would only work a couple of times. This caused several problems. When leaving and coming back in I would appear not in the stair way.. but in the pool in the basement. The stairs going down did not vanish... but they were no longer solid. This may have to do something with the upper wall in the children's bedroom that has problems. There is also some clipping in the lower pool area next to the first seat. I don't think the floor is quite level. The light or candle area going down to the first landing on the stairs is also blinking on and off.
    This is a good mod and I would love to use this house as my main home.

    Am sorry I forgot to tell you... I started a new game from the beginning. I have gone as far as getting the quest to Bleak Falls Barrows. Have not yet done it.

      Found the problem! First I thought the mannequin was back too far... then I got to looking at the wall from inside the child's bedroom. There are actually 2 parts to the walls in this mod... an inside and outside part. This is the wall with the painting of the cat, chitin and the warrior. I am a carpenter in real life and noticed the edge of this wall had the same contours as the column at the foot of the bed. Using the Jaxson Positioner I was able to "grab" the wall and slide it left into the place it was supposed to be. Unfortunately I have been playing with this mod... so will have to do this again when start my new game.
      While doing this I found something else. In the child's bedroom with the training dummy at my back... I noticed a chain floating in the room just under the chandelier. After some careful moving I was able to "grab" the chain with the Jaxson Positioner and saved it to my pack. Is this chain part of something or a left over?

      I spent yesterday with this mod. I like this mod because of the location and your followers will use the entire mod from the tub in the master bedroom to the forge down stairs. A lot of things are just one pixel off, lots of things blinking. Are a lot of "holes" around doors, in the food area, large pool down stairs.  Items dropped on the floor would vanish, specially in the children's bedroom. Adopted 4 children, they stayed in the house. Used the menu to send them outside and play. Had to go get them at 10 o'clock at night. Tried Lydia as the housecarl. She went up to the master bedroom and squatted next to the bed. Looked like she was trying to play an instrument??? Used TCL but was unable to locate what she was doing. Tried the Jaxsonz Positoner to lock down the cell, that was over three thousand pieces.... after 20 minutes (real time) was still not locked down.
      Uninstalled the mod... sorry.

    So sorry, I cant use this mod. Everytime I install it, I have missing walls, red globe things (that seem to be placed items), but they wont show up and no house there - with Springwood Estate and your other housemod....
    So sad...

    Hey ho,

    I downloaded the house (and some of the other housemods of yours) so far - and there are a couple of textures and meshes, that just dont load. I get white/red baubles at the places, where these meshes should be. Since I couldnt find out, what I could to with that, I have to deinstall the player home... sadly.
    Do you know, how to fix that?

    I'm so sad
    This is my favourite Player Home by far, but incompatible with Dawn of Skyrim Directors Cut, it overlays with the Solitude Ale House. I love DOS and Springwood Estate both and now I'll have to decide on one, that will be difficult.

    I like the House, a lot!
    Only the christmas-deko, i dont like.
    Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny and so on, dont belong to Skyrim for my taste.

    Is there a chance to download your file WITHOUT the christmas stuff?
    To download one of the older files would not be a good idea, because of the known bugs, right?
    Ist there an option to choose from (FoMod), during the installment?

      Hey! Actually you don't have to keep the Christmas decoration. You just enable it by talking to the steward. I won't share another version without it because It would create a new esp file which will just mess my future updates for the house, and it's for something optional to have (the xmas deco). But thank for your kind comment

    I can't find the place. Shows up on me mini map, nobody there to talk to so I can buy. I don't know, maybe she got killed in a vampire attack
