I was saddened to see that how rappidly Skyrims wild animals turned from scary monsters to minor pests as I leveled, so i fixed it. Hopefully there are some like minded people out there who want battles with bears to be gritty and intense, rather then clicking a few times and climbing back on your horse.

VERSIONS
=========

there are 3 different options to choose between when installing the mod, these are:

EASY:

this version is still makes the monsters considerably harder than the vanilla ones,
but they will eventually get too easy. This is for people who want a tougher fight at
the start but don't want to have to wait until they're a high level to be able defeat skyrims wildlife.

This version is leveled so as to keep them hard for as long as possible, but youll still end up needing
the normal version sooner than you'd think.

NORMAL:

This is the version I reccomend you start with, they'll put up a good fight for most of the game,
but dont expect to be able to kill them as early. This turns defeating the creatures into a real milestone,
and makes them something to be feared for even high level characters.

VERY HARD:

The normal version keeps the beasts tough for a long time, but as long as you keep
playing you'll need this at some point. All the creatures stats are aproximatly double what
they are in the normal version. This will keep the creatures tough well up towards level 80, but you may want to activate this
around to level 50 for an extra challenge. If you're not at that level yet though, just keep using the normal version
until you feel it's too easy.

Theres also an optional file that includes a room I made to test this mod. It consists of a long hallway with a room for each monster that this mod edits.

this may be helpful if you cant decide which version to use. to go there simply check the "beast testing dungeon" .esp in skyrims launcher
and once in game open up the developer console (press the small button to the left if 1 on your keyboard) and type in "COC beasttest" without quotes to teleport to hallway
(this is the only way to acces the room, I decided not to add a door in the world so as not to interfere with gameplay if you forget to uncheck it)

Dont bother keeping it acive after you've decided what type you want as this is its only function.

Please, feel free to tell me if you encounter any issues or have any ideas on how to make the mod better, just leave a comment or PM me. Also, if you like the mod, endorsing it helps alot.

If you want combat with people to be more exciting as well, why not try Realistic Damages, or one of the other great combat enhancement mods on the nexus.

Special thanks to Kodiak412 for his invaluable help testing the mod, and to Gluzdir for making a Russian version of the mod. It dosent actually add any text, but apparently editing the npc's will change their names back to English if you're running the game in a foreign Language. (this version is now out of date)
