    Thx mate, I can't wait for give it a try! One more question -I downloaed most of your skeleton&model mods, some of them have an xpmse versions -so, can I use those meshes with your mod?

      Hi Madbey,
      In theory you should be able to install Savage Skyrim then reinstall the two XP32 mods, Supreme Vampire Lords and Wicked Werewolves and they should work fine together. Let me know if you have any issues and I'll try an address them as they arise.

    First of all, thank you for this great mod, it's essential for my skyrim runs. With this mod, animal behavior is 100% more realistic and it's a lot of fun to play.

    I only have one problem with the balance in the game: the animals now have the desired influence on the game, while the other NPCs are only of some interest at master level. But at the master level with Savage Skyrim, it gets a little tiring fighting the beasts.

    If there was a mod that changed the behavior of human NPCs in a similarly intelligent way, I would be more than happy. At the moment I'm trying to balance the animal skill values with tesedit while still benefiting from the rest of the mod.

      If you would like a more challenging experience with NPC's, you might be interested in my overhaul mod Ardent Adventure....  I will warn you that it will make your game extremely tough, I usually play on adept difficulty when using it.  If you do decide to use it, I would also recommend using Advantageous Armor, which will make you tougher and keep you alive when wearing armor.  Hope you found this helpful and enjoy the mods my friend.

      Thank you very much for your answer and your suggestion with Ardent Adventure, which of course I implemented immediately. It's actually harder to play and it's important to take the time to get used to it. The NPC's aren't just harder to beat because they have more HP or stamina, but because they behave differently - compliments! Together with Savage Skyrim this is a wonderful combination.

    Wonderful mod, is it safe to use creature replacers? specifically the flame atronach.

      If you're planing on replacing the flame atronach it should work fine if it is only replacing meshes and skeleton files. 
       If the mod includes an .esp-plugin  then you'll need to install it after Savage Skyrim and you might need a patch with TES5Edit.

    I've been injured lately, so I've finally had some time to really get into some longterm gameplay with this mod and see what it does. Might as well post my thoughts on this while I'm at it.

    1. Trolls are true demons now, I've only been able to take them on so far with multiple followers. 10/10 I feel like how I did years ago encountering the first troll on the way to High Hrothgar.

    2. If this is the mod that's been putting werewolves into the dlc vampire encounters, I would like to report incompatibility with Run For Your Lives, because the townsfolk will not run from these encounters due to fighting the werewolves, and promptly die. If this is not the mod doing that, then ignore this.

    3. I think the elk are a bit too aggresive now, but it's not been too bad. The fights are interesting to say the least.

    4. The different textures for the animals has been lovely to see. I never could get automatic variants to work, so this is my favorite part of the mod.

    5. The use of knockdowns is a bit much for me, but thankfully I've had enough followers to be able to survive this particular aspect.

    6. I love the effects now given to fire and torches. Very realistic, I like whipping them out to prevent fights with animals, especially when setting up camp with a camping mod.

    Overall it's an excellent mod, that would probably greatly benefit from the use of an mcm for more customization of the experience. I'm sorry for all the word vomit but I really wanted to air my thoughts out while I'm thinking them.

      Thank you for the kind words, glad to hear you are enjoying the mod!  I'll look into the werewolf incompatiblity with Run for Your Lives mod, although I haven't experienced that myself.

    This mod interests me, mainly because its obviously based on Skytest, but also I've never been able to get automatic variants to work. However, I dislike the skeleton changes; I do use a few of the skeleton replacers, but not all of them. I would prefer it if this thing stuck to vanilla skeletons, so I could pick and choose which replacers I like rather than having to use them all at once.

    I re-downloaded the file ( Savage Skyrim V4.0) and the results are the same. Not sure if it's really a problem or just XEdit seeing something it can't comprehend.

    Animals respond and react differently to torches, but what about lanterns?

      Hi DL,
      Fear of torches and fire was all implemented by the Skytest portion of the mod.  I don't know if lanterns would really instill fear in creatures the way a flaming torch would, because you wouldn't be able to bash with it, but I'll look into it to see if there could be a middle ground that could be implemented.

      Hi Akiro,
      I like to use War Zones, Revenge of the Enemies, and Skyrim Immerisve Creatures.  Those are my 3 go to mods that I usually always use with Savage Skyrim.  But I'm always looking for interesting mods that catch my eye.

      Just load Savage Skyrim below All Gear Up and you really shouldn't have any issues.

    would you like to create a trot mod for the horses? there are no other mods that add a trot like this mod, I like the other functions of the mod, but I only use it because of the trotting of
    horses when walk, so I ask you to create a mod just for the trot, I will be eternally grateful. Thanks.
