Play as a High Elf, but with more distance from the Thalmor. You can be an exile from Middle Earth, a warrior of the Sidhe, a Snow Elf … or a stranded elf from Santa's workshop.

Changelogs
Version 1.1
Sidhe.esp file changed to correct missing Sidhe Light Boots.
This kit includes four Elvish player character races, each in a separate package: Eldar, Sidhe, Snow Elves, and Polar Elves. No new NPCs are included: "Elvish Alternatives" supports player characters only. ELDAR: The seas between the worlds have cast you up on this cold shore. There are elves here -- even some who call themselves "High Elves." But the true Eldar, though they were often apart from other peoples, were never tyrants. What Shadow has taken hold of these? This package offers the opportunity to play as a High Elf reflecting Tolkien's elves rather than the Thalmor tyranny. It has no basis in Skyrim lore; but Tamriel's aetherial planes are strange enough a single castaway from elsewhere seems possible. SIDHE: These are the Sidhe, the Fair Folk, beautiful and terrifying. The Sidhe are powerful in magic and can walk unseen, but they are vulnerable to cold iron. Not necessarily evil. But scary. The elven Sidhe are less Tolkien, more Terry Pratchett's "Lords and Ladies." They are based on Gaelic legend, and might be linked to Skyrim through the Breton heritage. SNOW ELVES: In their lost ice caverns, driven from the earth by the warriors of Altmora and by the betrayal of the Dwarves, your people have withdrawn for generations. What has become of the world above? Perhaps it is time to go and see. This mod sets the Snow Elf race as playable, and adds armor and bladed weapon crafting. POLAR ELVES: Now this is just silly. Santa Claus goes everywhere; what if one of his elves stowed away, and tumbled off the sleigh unseen over Skyrim?
