Just a head's up. This mod has race records that are made with update.esm. All race records for the Skyrim LE should originate from dawnguard.esm to avoid the black face bug. Dawnguard changes head data in the race records and created this issue. USLEEP race records are of course also fine.
This is LE, so records for Races often came from different scources. However. If you use all the DLC, then the race records need to come from Dawnguard.esm. In the SSE version of Skyrim, this is always the case. Any ports need to keep this in mind.
One further question is why does this mod have race records at all? It would seem the race records are identical to Update's records anyway, so removing them entirely wouldn't cause problems and would have the extra benefit of making the mod more compatible.
will this mod trigger the bite attack while in vampire lord form? I'm looking for a mod to turn the bite and kill animation into a lesser power that would count as a feeding..
It does not currently apply to other vampires. Its a thing I considered but it would mean meddling with a lot of levelled lists and I'm not 100% sure how effectively NPCs would be able to use it.
It does not, no. First mod and still new to modding so I wasnt sure how to tie it properly into vampirism, hence it being a separate spell with its own spell tome. That said, it operating the way it does makes sure it doesnt step on the toes of any other vampirism overhauls or gameplay decisions of the player (Such as having a build that requires maximum hunger level).
If I learn my way around Skyrim modding a bit more I may make an option version in the future that effects vampire hunger level.
When i tried it out, The drain worked but the animation didn't play and I was stuck. The only thing i could do was continue sucking, while standing there receiving attacks from my victim...
I have tried both versions of this mod. But, after I have learnt the spell and tried it out on someone. The bite animations work ok, But, my PC is frozen to the spot. The only way they can move afterwards is to change to another animation, ie, turn into vampire lord, etc. I have ran and updated FNIS and sorted my mods via LOOT. too.
Possibly a conflict? Cant imagine what it might be, though - in the testing I did I did occasionally freeze for a few moments but never to such a permanent degree.
