11/10 would stick it in my arse, would lick it and would use it in a few more ways. The shape is smooth, cool and almost realistic.

I'm glad you like it! Just don't "like it" too much, ok? ;)

Absolutey love it. The effects, the size rescaling... well done!

Are you planning on reworking more unique swords? Heck, maybe even the vanilla ones as well? :)

I second this opinion and question! There are too few decent unique models, and many of the named weapons either are crap or look like it. 10/10 will download any other unique's overhaul.

This looks amazing, really nice work.

Would be awesome to see Grimsever with this model. Might not make total sense perhaps, but still very cool me thinks.

Finally. Chillrend is supposed to be this cool and unique sword that's owned by none other than Mercer Frey, yet it looks completely dull and boring in vanilla.

Fantastic work and creativity. No esp to boot. Absolutely keeping it in my mod list but I won't go as far as flexxrussia's.
Had some inspired thoughts you may want to consider or laugh off:
    1. could the ice that forms become bloody along with the blade in fights?
    2. could some of the ice fall off when the blade strikes--opposite of how it accumulates when unused?
    3. can chillrend be so cold that it also harms the player unless they have sufficient frost resistance?

Those are some cool ideas. 1 and 2 are unfortunately not possible, at least not by any method I can think of. The enchant FX is a standalone art object, it's not "aware" of any events in the game (other than when to start and stop).

3 is certainly doable with an esp and some scripting. That's outside the scope of this mod though, it goes beyond replacing the graphics. But if you were to find or make such an esp, my mod would be compatible with it.

You can replace the sword model independently from the enchant FX. It will look bad if used on a sword that is much bigger or smaller, but the oblivion model is probably fine. Just let it overwrite my files and you get my FX on their sword. Simple as that.
