About this mod
The Legend of the Eagle's Nest by FlahoShi is a great mod but has an annoying bug.
The mod & instructions provided here are an actual fix for the wind howling issue in Riverwood which comes with his mod.
It does not remove the sound from the game but solves the problem of a wrongly placed marker & implements acoustic spaces.

This is only a guided fix to delete one marker and offers you an .esp which intruduces the wind howling where it is supposed to occur.
Not the player home itself. Get the absolutely epic player home by FlahoShi here: Legend of the Eagle's Nest

Annotation:
The screenshot-guide I made is a detailed step-by-step guide directed at users, who never used the CK before and aims to make sure they do not screw things up unintentionally. If you are experienced, you can delete the marker causing the wind howling issue the fast way.

Ah yes. The wind howling sound in Riverwood problem.
The fix provided under "optional files" on the Eagle's Nest modpage ("flaho_shi_eagles_nest_wind_fix") is not a solution, but creates more problems. It removes a sound from the game entirely and stops that windsound from occuring everywhere in Skyrim where it should play.
There is a simple actual solution though:
The problem is the soundmarker ""AMBrWindMountainHeavy_LP" which FlahoShi placed on the little bridge connecting the Eagle's Nest to the mountain.
This marker plays its sound in all loaded cells around the cell it is placed in because it belongs to a bunch of markers which should only be used in childworlds in the way it was wrongly used here. (e.g. Skuldafn World where there are no cells around which need a different soundvariety)
1. Delete the marker "AMBrWindMountainHeavyLP" in cell "Wilderness" (3, -9) in the render window or "Cell View" window (NOT in the object window) - see screenshots for step-by-step instructions.
Now the strong wind howling sound is gone from the surrounding cells but from around the castle as well - which we do not want with a castle on a windy mountain peak, therefore:
(This is purely optional btw. since there is another - a bit "softer" - mountain wind sound playing still around the mountain after you deleted the wrongly placed marker. My .esp reintruduces the strong wind sound to your game.)
2. Download my mod. Put it right after "flaho_shi_eagles_nest_ENG.esp".
That's it.
No more annoying mountainpeak wind howling sound in Riverwood resp. in all cells around "Wilderness 3, -9" and only present at the castle/mountain top as well as along the path to the Stonetree.

Q: Why not upload the already fixed player home .esp or provide the fix to FlahoShi?
A: He hasn't been active since 2018, therefore has not replied to my message and I don't want to get banned.^^
Known Issues:
Someone experienced somewhat reduced performence with my .esp. If you experience a strange FPS drop or freezing in the cells around Wilderness 3,-9, disable the mod until you buy a stronger rig. (I have no Idea how acoustic spaces can drain FPS or something, though. :P)
